Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

I really liked the way you explored the theme with the spaceship!
- Awesome pixel art

That's fun, nice graphics too. It would be cool if it had co-op that'd probably let you be way more ruthless with the enemies.

Really cute game! Having the difficulty start easier and ramp up over time might help to extend the fun.

Innovative controls! I had fun playing. Nice music, though a bit repetitive.

Very cool graphics and the "color change" mechanic really works with this game.
There were times where I had to run all the way across the room and knew I wouldn't be able to switch the colors on time. Then I understodd it was all about my placement and managed to survive some almost impossible situations.
Good job!

Oh, I'm in love with this tiny game. The visual style is perfect, the mechanics are charming, the overall concept is beautiful and catching.
Good job!

@harak @Oxeren @batmagus @cushycode
Thanks for the nice comments! Much appreciated!

I hear you the game sometimes feel very one dimensional, perhaps putting more emphasis on the plattformer aspect would result in a harder and funnier game!

very nice art style! And solid game.. theme match is not perfect though (:

Hello! I'm the artist of this charming little game and I wanted to respond to the lot of you :)

@Aster0id2000: Thank you!
@Mattmatt: Yeah I love that little spaceship, Mieeh gave it so much personality making it bob up and down! :) Happy you like the art!
@Cosmic-Hawke: Oh co-op would be so much fun!
@batmagus: This has now been implemented :)
@Oxeren: Thank you!
@Mark Overmars: Happy to hear you're cutting us some slack, we'll make sure to balance it based on feedback :)
@victorcrafty: Thank you! You too!
@harark: I agree with the music getting a bit repetetive, that's entierly on me. I don't have much experience with making music so I'm happy to hear you like it, despite it's glaring flaw :)
@Mordokay: Very happy to hear you enjoyed it!
@cushycode: Aw jeez thank you for your feedback! :)
@Leon Möhring: Thank you for your feedback! :)
@sfje-team: Thank you!
@SoKette: We'll make sure to optimize the game :)
@paradxil: Thank you!

Thank you for your comments, keep 'em coming!

Cute little game! Love the pixelart :)
Could be a bit more difficult imo, although I also like how relaxing it is right now.

Interesting game, i liked graphics and gameplay mechanics. My top highscore so far is 360 past that point ships are just too fast :D
Pretty good game in overall.

Dec 13, 2016 @ 9:16pm

Cute game! funtastic job! i'm a bit colorblind maybe.. the middle and the right one i don't see the color difference...

Mieeh says ...
Dec 13, 2016 @ 9:51pm

@WarmLemon yeah, the game isn't really nice to color-blind people. Maybe implementing a color blind feature that saturates color would work. Thanks for playing!

Dec 14, 2016 @ 3:57am

Great! Simple mechanics but rewarding gameplay. I like how you're not the one doing the shooting, but a kind of indirect agent.

Nice work!

Dec 14, 2016 @ 4:28am

Really nice atmosphere for something so simple. and really fun, too! I'd like to see it with some sort of upgrade system for your droid and base. One note, I'm not so good at differentiating between greens and blues, so that made things a bit trickier for me..

Really like the concept. Another entry that I would really want to see more developing. Congrats!

Dec 16, 2016 @ 9:56am

@tinyworlds Thank you! I do agree we have some balancing issues right now.
@PeachTreeOath Thank you for your support :)
@ThatSnillet Thank you!
@Zeriver Thank you, yeah the difficulty needs to halt past 270 imo
@WarmLemon Yeah the colours aren't very distinct, I would reccommend checking your screen settings and maybe even making the screen better. I also made the ships have a different shape depending on colour, perhaps I should have made the buttons reflect this aswell.
@SimonHutchinson Thank you :)
@spacedoubt The respons to WarmLemon goes here aswell. I'm happy to hear you like the game despite it's flaws :)
@pcmxms Thank you :) Neat score!
@Albert Viader Happy to hear we nailed the nostalgia feeling! :)
@Alexandr Lisnic Thank you!

PS. We are also aware that the downloaded version is quite broken. The ships barely fall and this has to do with how the web browser calculates fall speed versus the download version. We are still looking into how to fix this, sorry for the inconvenience

Dec 21, 2016 @ 3:36am

Cute little game. Good pixel art, and nice music and sound effects.
I wish the gameplay had a little more depth, though. Maybe some enemies inside the house that have to be avoided or defeated? Or randomized platforms that make it more difficult to navigate?
I also don't really understand how this ties into the theme.

fafastudio says ...
Dec 21, 2016 @ 5:12am

Great art and original concept but the gameplay is very limited.

ijzm says ...
Dec 21, 2016 @ 6:09am

Very cute and simplistic endless game. Though there were a lot of times where I felt helpless, the enemy coming from the other side of the screen before I could get there in time, the concept has some potential to be an even bigger game. I hope you expand on this idea!

Karai17 says ...
Dec 21, 2016 @ 8:12am

A bit challenging lol, cute graphics, music goes with the graphics.

Dia6lo says ...
Dec 21, 2016 @ 11:29am

Nice concept, but the game doesn't hook the player by anything - add some more addictive elements, like upgrades or story. Plain mechanics aren't doing well by themselves.

Dec 21, 2016 @ 10:12pm

I had a really good time playing this game. I definitely would have liked a faster way to move around but I feel like as a prototype this is pretty awesome!

Cute and simple! It's a fun LD entry, but I wish there was a little more to it.

Dec 29, 2016 @ 4:24pm

Really cute game, I find the mechanics simple yet interesting to play with. You had me hooked up, and that's rare! Really great work!

BlueLlama says ...
Dec 31, 2016 @ 5:25pm

I got to 270.

Very neat game, I don't think I need to reiterate the praise others have justly given (cute grahpics etc.)

I feel that a few may have been (nearly) impossible to destroy. Given some logic to monitor difficulty in this way could make it slightly more fun at higher levels. (You could possibly add bursts of enemies of the same colour, it wouldn't make it any harder, but maybe more exciting with 5+ enemies in the sky, I'd happily sacrifice speed for quantity in this case)

Theihe says ...
Jan 2, 2017 @ 3:29pm

We got some balancing up in the nick of time! The difficulty will now eventually stop before the game becomes unplayable, though the download version is still a bit whack.

@Greek85 Thank you lad!
@patvanmackelberg Happy to hear that you enjoyed it!
@Blushine We would have loved to expand on the concept, but time limits are unfortunate. It fits the team since it's one room (no doors) but I could have been more innovative and separated the three sections of the rooms with furnitures or something of the like :)
@fafastudio Thank you for your feedback, we'll keep it in mind for future games.
@ijzm Balancing has been tweaked! It would indeed be fun to expand on this, but both me and Mieeh have private projects on the side so I'm afraid such a thing won't happen. :'c
@Karai17 Happy to hear!
@Dia6lo There was no way we could have added upgrades or story with the limited time that we had unfortunately.
@stefenism Thank you for your feedback!
@calcitherin Thank you!
@DDRKirby(ISQ) Thank you for your feedback :)
@Oddly Shaped Pixels Really great to hear that this fit your bill!
@BlueLlama Yeah we have added balancing tweaks now (though its a bit late) that will make the game more fair to play. Thank you for your feedback :)

Thank you all for playing 'Stain this planet with cosmic prism'! It's been great to hear all of your feedback and I wish you all good luck on your scores! Happy holidays!

What a fun and simple concept! The minimalist graphics and sound really fit together here.

I must admit it got a little too hard rather quickly. I was expecting a more relaxing experience but that's just because I'm tired :)

Adorable entry!

Jan 3, 2017 @ 1:37am

I like this game! The mood and art style was spot on!

Jan 3, 2017 @ 1:55am

The art and music were both really fantastic. I felt like there was a sense of futility to the game in the sense that there was no way I was ever going to get any faster. I honestly liked that element to it.

@SkullPixel Thank you!
@emmelineprufrock What a lovely review <3
@carlotes247 Thank you!

A huge 'congratulation' goes out to everyone who participated in this Ludum Dare! Your support have been very meaningful and both me and Mieeh will take the feedback with us to our next projects and create something even greater!
