Alien Cube Sorting Room

What would it be like to work in an unforgiving alien sorting factory where mistakes are punished by bombing your workstation? Being trapped in one room, trying to survive the neverending work day?

Walk - WASD

I managed to survive 15 waves, but the counter keeps going up even after I die. It's a pretty neat idea, though. You do need some fast reflexes to quickly pick up the correct colour block and then get it to the correct colour station. I like the consequences of parts of the floor being taken away if you're too slow. Definitely adds to the challenge.

Some music would be GREAT. The sound effects for destroying the tiles is good. I thought the design for the alien was kinda funky, and that's cool. If there's anything that really bothered me, it was the controls. WASD with E felt a little too contrived. Maybe have both WASD and arrows to move, and two keys on opposite ends to pick up and drop off blocks?

I like games that form around experimental abstract mechanics, where the story and art are like skins on top of the basic interactions. It seems like the most interesting characters emerge from that style of design.
