Potato Panic Room

Potato Panic Room is a survival game where you have to survive to an attack of mutants potatoes.
You play Alana. She just discovered the identity of the mutant potato conspiracy's leader.
Alana succeed to run to an abandoned arms cache. All mutant potatoes soldats just want to enter and kill the girl who knows too much things.

You can move with arrows, ZQSD or WASD. You can aim with the mouse. Click to aim, release to shot. More you wait, more your bullet will be powerfull.

You have an hungryness and a sleepyness bar (bottom left). If you're hungry, you go slower. If you're sleepy, it's harder for you to focus while aiming.
To eat, go to the food reserve (in the bottom of the room). To sleep, go to the bed (bottom right).

You just have to stay near the bed / food to sleep / eat.

You can reload your ammo by going near an ammo box. You can always shot, but you'll shot multiple bullets if your ammo bar is not empty.

You can build some barricades to slow down ennemies. Build one with F. You have an (hidden) cooldown : you can't build two barricades in less than 3 seconds of interval.
You have a limited number of barricade in your inventory.
To get some barricades, go near an ammo box.

Watch the bars of ammo and barricade on bottom left.

Potatoes will try to kill you, but they'll also destroy your furnitures. Be carefull, if your bed is destroy, you'll never be able to rest yourself again (same for ammo boxes and food reserve).

Note: there is an help is the game but it's very hard to read (H key). You can mute the music with M.

So many potatoes! Good challenge, making barriers is important to slow the onslaught. I really like having to visit the points the stay in optimal fighting shape. Also goes well with the theme.

A few more enemy types and you could have quite a game!

Nice! Couldn't see my mouse pointer, but that made it a bit more challenging after getting used to it.

I liked the charging shooting and resource management aspect of the design. Nice work.

Pace is slow. It could be not a problem if the only goal was shoot everything that moves. Music and graphics are not pleasant, but the gun, fence, sleep mechanics are well executed.

Interesting mechanics in this, it is basically game over when one of the pieces of furniture is destroyed. Also the music is a bit loud could do with a volume control in game.

Fun and quite challenging game, but there is a collision bug which stuck the enemies in the walls, preventing me from finish the wave.. Good game anyway !

Pretty good, but has a few bugs. Namely there is no target graphic so it's hard to tell what you are aiming at with your mouse, and some of the enemies go through the walls, making them impossible to reach or fire at.

Funny little game. I'm not very good at it though... A visible crosshair would've been nice :)
