== NOTES ==
Excessive Moe and Missing Sentinel Software decided to team up this time around to make a game! We had a lot of fun working together and butting heads on ideas and workflows. :) exmoe programmed the mechanics and AI and did character design and animations while MSS designed the cutscene system, the world environment, and all the voice tracks. Phew, another one bites the dust!

It has become a bit of a Ludum Dare tradition for me to check out your 3d entries using Löve3d. It feels like every time is the best game so far and this time is not an exception to that rule.
Visually it looks and feels amazing, the graphics style coherent and the models are well made.
I appreciate the fact that you have voice acting, it adds a lot of humor.
Follows the theme to a T and is overall one of the best entries that I have played in this Ludum Dare and the previous ones that I have participated in. Well done!
Noooooooo I crashed right before the end. The game is pretty good, only wished I could skip the cutscenes after the nth time.
Very good entry. At least evil boss just show her the ways of life :)
Really like the graphic and the take on the theme, nice work and the animation could be better but not bad at all , great work
Haha, what... Good job on the overall presentation and... tentacle sounds. lmao
Even if the battle is a bit hard, i think this is an exceptional game! Great graphics and a nice soundtrack too.
The presentation here is superb. Your graphics and audio for a 72 hour game are top-notch, and the atmosphere makes you excited right from the start. However, I found the controls to be pretty clunky and tough to work with. With some more time to bring the feel of the gameplay up to the same level as the presentation, you could have an excellent boss game.
For some reason, the game instantly crashes after the title screen disappears.
It's very fun. Not very playable, but very fun. I don't think I even managed to hurt the boss :(
The gameplay itself is not enjoyable, but the voiceovers are hilarious, especially the death ones...
Very good entry! I like its style and even the plot) One of the best LDJ37 game so far
Pretty cool presentation but the controls are a bit clunky and the game seems impossibly difficult. I also had a crash when getting attacked. Not a fan of the death cutscene either.
Thanks everyone for your comments and criticisms! Keep them coming!

The general consensus here that we made the game a bit too difficult, heh. Please remember to collect and use potions! That aside, I do agree, we ended up making the boss quite a bit more difficult than we originally intended. For most of the time, he ended up being too easy, so we ramped up the difficulty near the end without much time to balance. Oops!
Our animations are pretty janky for sure. Our animation system didn't have animation blending in time for LD so we just sorta rolled with what we had. We now have animation blending though, so our next game will feel a lot smoother!
Oh man. I wanted to love this - I've long been a fan of Love2D, and it's awesome to see what Love3D is capable of - but as a game, it really feels kinda janky. ^_^;
Good job considering all of this was done on a single weekend, though I felt like there was some hit-feedback missing when hitting the monster, so it wasn't exactly outright obvious wether or not I had actually hit the monster, well done otherwise!
So hard! The voice over is perfect, it really makes the game fun and add a real little background to the universe!
Amazing entry, great job!
I found it way too difficult, but otherwise an amazing job in the limited time allowed. This would have been an AAA game just some years ago :-)
Cool game.Gameplay itself is a bit weak. It's not easy to creat a action game in 72 hour. Art and audio is well done.
Are you sure those are sounds of pain?
Anyway, it's nice to see another 3D love game.
I very much liked the graphics, palette reminded me of some Zelda games. Gameplay is solid, although for me it's a little too hard. That is undertandable though, it's the final boss :).
Very impressive, we got him to two thirds. The death scene was hilarious. Great music and graphics.
Great presentation, modelling, etc, but the game is too hard. I don't think anyone will complain if you upload a slightly modified version where the boss has about 1/2 to 1/4 of its current HP and where its attacks are equally nerfed.
I think an invulnerability time could have been nice to prevent stunlocking.
Graphics look great; always impressive using a 2D engine to render the 3D scenes. The attack controls felt pretty clunky though, making the boss fight overly hard imo.
The intro cutscene got me excited but I find the boss too difficult to kill. Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm hitting the boss at all - adding a feedback for that will be great (eg. flashing red) Whoever did the audio for "pain" in the gameover cutscene, it really made me laughed so hard.
Love3D rules :-D for the actual game I think the controls are little bit awkward. Movement is good but I had trouble with attacking the monster. Also it can make some visual feedback about hits. Graphics is really good.
The graphics are really nice but the battle is really difficult, at least for me ^^' Well done though :)
Pretty impressive for a weekend's work. I think the base for an awesome boss fight is there, just needs some tweaks to the difficulty, and maybe a better sense of when your attacks are connecting.

Really cool game! The graphics, voice over and animations are superb for a 72h game, although the attack animation would be more smooth if it allowed you to walk at the same time.
