Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

~~<< If you are having trouble getting past the title screen, try the post-jam version below. It's much easier. >>~~
Try to get as high as you can in this infinite platformer! The world will start to dissolve as soon as you cross the first line.
Controls: Arrow keys or WASD to move, R to reset, Up/W/Space while touching a wall to walljump.
Theme:
The game is entirely set in the same room, including the title screen.
This is my first time using Javascript to create a game, as well as my first LD game. I completed this in the nick of time. It isn't really complete, but that's ok, I guess.
**EDIT** Changed a value slightly so you wouldn't spawn off the screen
Edit 2: Added a post-jam version in which controlling the player is much easier; the one shown here is still the jam version

Very hard to control, so near impossible to advance past the start. I feel like there needs to be more "stick" time during the wall jump. Would also help if jump button was something like spacebar to make it easier to control (arrow key up is awkward). Graphics are cool, and dog animations are cute!
My sister told me the walljumping was unintuitive. I guess I just walljump weirdly. I decided to make the title screen require a tricky jump to make sure that you would have a chance to try it before the game actually started.
I was going to add WASD controls, I have the movement script set up to allow me to do that, but then... I didn't.
There's a bunch of other stuff I would've liked to put in, like a difficulty curve, but I was working right up to the time limit to get something presentable. I think I'll make a post-jam version that is a little closer to my original vision.
I like the graphics, that's a very cute dog. The game is way too hard for me, I think I'd need to play it at half or quarter speed to even have a chance.
Nice graphics, the dog is cute AF. But yeah, the controls are kinda hard to get anything done =\. Anyway, good to see more javascript jammers ^^ We did wit js too o/
I love the theme, the graphics and idea, but the controls are really difficult. I couldn't make it to the "UP" at all.
The animation and movement are really well made, it feels tight and responsive to play. Good job. :)
Neat idea! The wall-jump mechanic is very cool! But man, this is a tough one. It was difficult for me to get very far because the controls were so sensitive.
The dog sprite was adorable. The game play was impossible. fun
Hard to play and control but once I got the hang out it it wasn't too bad. A high score would be a nice thing to add in the future.
The game looks great but even in the post jam version it is very difficult to not slide off 1 wide blocks and have to repeat a part over and over.it doesn't seem fair if you have already made the jump. love the dog character though and the games physics mechanics feel really well coded and reliable.
Cute visuals and animations, but controls are wayy to difficult! Very glad to see you fixed it in a post-jam update though, it helped me experience the game for what it was intended to be. Good job!
Cool animation for the dog ! But the game was really too hard for me, even in the post-jam version I didn't get very far, the dog is nearly impossible to control... Otherwise it is quite well done !

I can't jump on "W", it's so hard
