Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

It is a fun game. I would like to suggest adding a health bar, most of the time I was knocking off my oponents with ease. Beside that I really enjoyed it. Congratulatuions!
Haha, the main idea and the pun is perfect!
The game is really great, pretty much in every categories!
Super entry, good job!
Cool game idea, i think there is room to make a great game out of it!
I've found it hard to read my enemy. Part of the problem was that the camera was to closely zoomed in for me. I also couldn't anticipate what attack my enemy uses to really tell what i should counter. My best strategy was smashing all buttons randomly :D
On the minor side: The benches were buggy for me too (Graphics bug).
I loved the consept of the game, felt like tekken just pressing a bunch of buttons and then winning the game! thats cool
The idea is unique but it's quite unclear how different waveforms interact with each other. Although it would be nice to add healthbar or something. Otherwise - cool entry
There should be an Awkward Silence Punch. :D
Had fun beating the enemy out of a subway carriage with heart emoticons. It would be also great to see a deeper connection between how we use words irl and fighting mechanics.
Awesome concept! I like the idea of the waveforms as attacks, but I couldn't really figure out the strategy of it (like what effect the height really has), and enemy attacks seemed way too fast to be able to preempt or defend against them. Mashing randomly seemed to be an effective strategy :P I really liked the dynamic music too, and the 2.5D graphics are a great look. Nice work!
Original concept, the game looks great and the soundtrack is awesome as well! Some things you might want to tweak are the constant zooming in and out, it made me feel dizzy I thing a fixed camera would've worked better in this situation. Another thing that could, as other people mentioned already, are healthbars and some feedback on damage dealt and received. Other than that the game is very interesting and fun!

Very interesting game ! Congratulation !
There are two "negative" points. The first one is that I did not expect this game when I read the title. I think you could make a game a little bit different that real fighting game.
The second point is that the benches are buggy. x)
Expect that two points, your game is really cool, funny and polished ! You well used the codes of fighting game and we do not understand all the things displayed all the time, and this is the force of the game.
Congratulation again :)
