Liked it. Good job!
Besides the missing sound I would suggest maybe a different approach on time passing. In between the days you basicly do nothing if you have no money. Maybe click a button to advance time on a daily matter? So you can upgrade and spent money.. read your messages.. done? next day... you got no money to spent and no messages? next day.. besides that good job
Lovely graphics! I also made a kind of hotel simulator, though I totally bent the theme and put in more than one room. But... one room per guest, right? :D
Nice take on the theme. I like the graphics too! Whole game was pretty funny.
Well done :D
Really interesting kind of game, where you have to upgrade your room strategically. I just think its still lacks some more content into the game yet, since i got to one point there i just had to wait for days to have enough money for upgrade and coundn't do something else. But the game is really fine and the idea was very good, keep working on these games!
I like the concept, but there isn't much to it. Pretty much you just wait to make enough money and upgrade stuff, and there aren't very many upgrades to do. I very quickly found myself just sitting and watching the timer as there was nothing left to upgrade. As far as choices go, I found that there weren't many choices presented to me. The game has a lot of promise, provided more time was put into it to give more upgrades and more storyline choices.
Wohoo. I made it to the end with almost 5.000 and a fully upgraded room, but it wasn't enough :) Fun little thing.
Nice game. Very good graphics for 48 hours. Very nice use of the theme. Very fun.
It has really nice graphics and it's quite original, but the gameplay is meh. The idea is great but it gets boring really fast. I'm sure this could be fixed by making the random events occur more often and adding some more features (like managing multiple rooms, perhaps doing marketing things and things like that). If you keep working on this game and adding stuff to it, it could become something really good. Good luck and keep working.
Interesting game, a bit slow. Also is there a problem with no people other than the player renting the room as this is the only thing that seemed to happen
I love the way you twisted the theme and conformed to it at the same time: `room one`. Awesome.
This is pretty impressive for 1.4 KLOC of java.
The graphics and writing put me in a good mood. I was excited to see the result of upgrades, and I like very much the representation of time.
As the 30rd of the month was coming, I started to feel anxious, and waiting to the next day is a plus.
Finally they fired me, but I don't give up, I'm going to play again! Thanks for making this game.
Terrific art and mood. I didn't feel like I was making any real decisions in the game, though.
Nice game, at first I thought this was just another "cookie clicker"-like game, but I was pleasantly surprised that it actually has some depth to it (and a lose condition).
The wait time between days is a bit too much though. It would probably be better if it was turn based.
Also, in the last turn, you could automatically add the value of all your upgrades to the final score. As it stands, it's obviously beneficial to just sell everything on the last day.
I wish I could rent a room out for $874 a night!!
Nice work, I love the style. Your tutorial was awesome
Pretty fun game. Loved the presentation and the art. Well done! :-)
Quite a fun game! Could do with a bit more difficulty and more random events here and there but apart from that it was pretty fun.
It was kinda boring to be honest. Once you got your reputation it never lowered and you just had to wait, until the day was over and you got some more moneys. Also the missing border from the window was kinda distracting. But nice idea.
Cute graphics! Nice polish! Made me really reconsider managing a hotel.
Great artstyle, great upgrade system, I wanted more! The events are a nice touch, the bed bugs one was particularly brutal. The day timer could be a little faster or have a speed up option.
I like it! I had to restrain myself and not upgrade too much at a time, balancing upgrade costs and problems as they emerged.
The way time passes bothered me a little, with nothing much to do as it happens. I get that there's opportunity to improve the room in that time, but most of the time I wasn't doing any of that. I think I'd have preferred a full on turn-based mechanic there, so I could've controlled the pace.
Nice graphics, clear UI. The font is a bit hard to read though. The lack of sound is a shame. The writing is excellent and comedic.
Very nice job overall!
Sniff I got fired! Good bah I will not be a hotel manager. I go back to the game creation.
Pretty funny game ;). I very like it ! very nice job.
Cozy game, would love to have a full version of this on a mobile device, I enjoyed the dialogue.
Good job!
Good visual style, don't found much fun in the game. You basically press the button to read text.
Good graphics, loved the charming style. Needed music or some audio :)
Had fun with it. Gameplay needed more variety, more randomized events (sometimes you just keep waiting until money comes)
Nice idea and good use of the theme. There's a surprising amount of content here but I felt it needed a few more random events (preferably with options for handling them, like the TV repair one) to add more of a skill element to the gameplay.
Still, a fun experience with nice visuals. Good work!
Nice job. Sound effects and maybe a bit of animation here and there would have helped a lot, but of course there's only so much you can do in two days! Difficulty was a little weird, like it felt way too easy and then I had suddenly lost randomly.
I like the art a lot. The controls were a bit clunky - sometimes I couldn't exactly tell what I had selected. I also felt like there wasn't really any tension - although this might have been because I sort of didn't get that I needed to have some money at the end of 15 days.
Pretty interesting concept although I found the text very unreadable because of the font you were using. One suggestion I would make is to add some sort of highlight border when you hover each upgradable items so you can tell where you're clicking (Also I think the win condition is a bit bugged as I somehow got fired after getting a really good reputation for the hotel along with a nice big profit).
