Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
You are trapped in one room.
Or so it seems... sometimes you just have to look at the problem from another angle.
It's all about the perspective!
I didn't have enough time to finish, so this game has no goal. Just wander around :)
AD/LeftRight moves the player left and right
WS/UpDown moves the player into or out of the screen
E rotates the world 90 degrees
Space to jump
R to generate a new world
Q: Rotate 90 degrees? What?
A: The game evironment is made in 3D, but the gameplay is in 2D. When you hit a wall, you can rotate your perspective. For the average shape that lives in 2nd dimension, it would be akin to warping magic. However, to us, it's just as simple as looking at another direction.

Very interesting. I did not understand exactly how I was moving through the world, but it was fun, trying to go up "sides of the game" that were at the same time transforming. Fell out of the world 2 times, don't know if that was supposed to happen. Overall, great game!
Great experiment! Maybe someday it will find its way into a game :)
Very cool technique you have here. It's relaxing to just wander around, and interesting to think about what it could be used for!
cool idea, but very difficult to grasp what's going on, maybe each direction could be a different color scheme? I fell off the world too, is that winning? =) Movement could be smoother.
Really liked the minimalistic art style. It's fun changing the perspective when you get the hang of it.
hard to understand how the movement works but its a great idea
Buggy, but interesting concept. I guess that you should rewrite your LineOfSight script. It is too laggy. Overall, a good entry ++
Welp, I think I fall into abyss, lol...
It has really good concept for the game, but it hard to tell when and what will happen when change the perspective.
Good job.
It`s hard to understand what is happening, maybe some UI info could clarify a little.
wow, that was innovative, reminded me of Fez in some way, but a bit more mindfu@cking :P
good job :)
It's an interesting concept, kind of reminds me of Fez, but I feel that the lighting doesn't provide enough information for a player to effectively navigate a 3D environment like this.
I also fell out of the world pretty quick, haha!
I don't understand how it works, but there is something intriguing in this game...
Maybe the black/white bias is too hard with an already hard concept...
I liked a mechanic, reminded me of Fez, but there was no real context linking the perspective together, it all felt rather random to be honest.
I fell out of the world a few times :/. Still, this is pretty cool. Would have been fun to have a goal though (even if it's as simple as "collect X items")
Cool concept, which is why I enjoy LD so much as it gives you an excuse to experiment. Keep it up.

This is a really neat concept! I found my brain had troubles really understanding where I was, but I like the underlying concept.
