Refuge

This was supposed to be a resource management game where you try to keep your people safe from monsters that demand a daily offering of meat. However, due to the incompetence of me, the programmer, as well as time constraints, it ended up being an empty tech demo.

Really coo pixel art and animations. Shame you didn't have time to make more game mechanics, but im glad that you decided share with us this demo. I hope you will continue working on this project.

Hosting on dropbox requires people to download to play, which defeats some of the purpose of a web version. You could try Github pages as an alternative, it's free and works well.

Love the art style. This is a good demo of your skills as an artist/animator above anything else. I love the way you rendered the cracks in the logo for one example. And the way the vines wrap around the letters.

Visually, it looks beautiful! Nice work on the pixelart there! The fire animation's also really nice too! :)

It's a shame you couldn't finish the game, but I hope you manage to turn it into a full game! :)
