Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
Circlin' has a simple concept. Hold left click to apply force and catch the circles by hitting them with your tail. Targets keep spawning with a fixed rate, so hurry up!

Created with Rust and SDL. No framework used. I'm kind of sad about this decision as this would've worked just fine as a web game.
I made a build for Windows, but don't have any Linux machines handy. You can try building for Linux from the source, just remember to get the SDL2 and SDL2-ttf devels (and if you do, please comment on how you did it).

Not bad! A tad boring though :) Easy to use interface was good, and the mechanics and controls were smooth.
Very cool idea and very unique. The game looks very nice and everything is nice and smooth.
cool game, though i wish there was a full screen mode since my mouse kept going off the screen and messing me up :(
really liked this and you have really nailed the movement the only thing i felt was missing was some sound but otherwise real solid work
A simple and fun game. The mechanics are smooth, but it needs a way of scoring because even though it was fun playing it after a time i asked myself what i am doing, or what is the point! Anyway good job!
Thanks for making this nice arcade game!
I played all most of the level of difficulties. I like the fact it requires self-control: at the beginning of a level I turn around the two rectangles to meek momentum and intercept as may bubble as possible. Then I switch to slow => precise => fast to destroy the last ones.
Graphics are minimalist, background animation is nice and particles makes it look vintage. Adding sound would be so nice (no sound for me). I want to feel speed, and add to satisfaction when crushing a bubble (bing, bing, yay!), and reward when reaching an objective (applause)
At some point I wondered what is this trail, tracked by a line and why I would crush those nice bubbles.
The game could benefit from some story telling. Adding a sense progression would keep the player interested: it could get more and more difficult as time pass, there could be special bubble the clears a zone of the screen, rectangle could move if one manage to press the buttons on the sides is a short amount of time an crush what is in between. There could be a final enemy that we can't touch without bumping on it, or there could be an object to protect from bubbles.
BTW: it makes me think about `boogaloopers`, you should try it!
This game is amazing! It's simplistic and yet it's polished really well, I love the spin on a bullet-hell style where you're collecting all the projectiles rather than avoiding them
Nice physics, I enjoyed pretending I was mickey mouse in fantasia swishing my wand around destroying balls
Bouncing the thingy around is pretty fun. Do you think you could come up with some controls that don't involve holding the mouse button, for us touchpad users?
Nice secret level :P
Oh, also, make it easier to distinguish between a particle and an actual target. The screen becomes kind of a mess when there's a lot of either.
A creative idea.
First time heard of Rust and game development in Rust.
I would recommend "LÖVE" to you since you may like it.

Nice concept, works really well!
The different difficulties are well done and make the game feel complete!
Cool entry! =)
It was pretty fun, but gah Harder mode was hard. Still great smooth controls and movement. Add sound for sure!
