Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

I had this idea a couple years ago with some friends and this theme was the perfect excuse for trying it out.
This is the first game I finish and release with Unity. It was a nice experience and I intend to keep working on it, there's obviously a lot to improve.
Instructions on the title screen.
The game's also filled with bugs, so report anything that I can fix, please.
Tools:
- Unity
- Paint.NET
- Reason 4
- Audacity
I would like to thank my girlfriend, my students and the friends who helped give me feedback and make this game suck less.

Fixed! If it does not load, just go to the itch.io link! Thanks!
Cool gameplay and style. Just a few notes for polish: feels like the bosses don't reach 0 health before switching and you should make the health bar a bit more obvious.
Music is wonderfully hyper. Could definitely use more sound effects. I like all the references. Good stuff. :)
Very fun and challenging! Good graphics and audio as well. :D
Hey! Great game. The bosses are pretty damn hard. I like the music and I liked the no rest progression. Also dying is not painful because you are back on playing very fast, which is good! If I could change anything, I would add Gamepad support and maybe some kind of powerups. I had fun getting the references, and my maximum was bomberman. I really like that the first jumping boss is Mario!
Was fun! The gameplay was a bit simplistic and the boss behaviors didn't change that significantly, so you basically had one set of behaviors you performed for all of them (or at least until bomberman, where I couldn't go further). I liked the grpahics and the music and sfx were perfect, though!
Great game, animations were good, music was fit really well. I like the difficulty progression. Congratulations on your first Unity release, I hope you enjoyed using it for Ludum dare and keep up the good work
Fun game! Surprisingly addictive for how simple it is, i like how the bosses keep gaining new mechanics.
My biggest complaint would be the lack of feedback when you're hit, took me a while to even notice i had a health bar.
I got to Bomberman and just barely defeated him, but died immediately after.
Nice work!
Fun game! I like the video game character references ;) It was also quite hard though! Managed to beat Bomberman but then I died.... Good job though!

Woah.. Good job! Hard to get past the bomberman for me but that's a nice idea... I wonder what's his final form..
