sweet dreams...

Warning: Game may contain spiders.

The story:

"Someone goes to bed in their one room apartment, and they feel safe, because of their modern anti-intruder system.
Well, YOU are in control of this very system.. make sure, they have sweet dreams and are not disturbed by anything!"

Controls: Mouse to move the target, click and hold down to fire.

"S" toggles sound on and off.

The rules: Points for kills, but shooting costs points. 5 bites to the rooms occupant and you are out.

I love the crunching sound when you get a spider! Also, great graphics, for a stationary room that is a really nice looking scene. Can't quite figure out the collision detection though

I didn't understand at start what your laser is not cheep to use. And what you can have negative score is strange...

But I enjoyed. Thank you!

My wife would really hate that game :) Really liked the execution, especially the graphics and spider animations as they come crawling from everywhere. Also the idea of making the lights dim throughout time makes it even spookier. I guess the game just needs a bit more content, perhaps an ending, or maybe levels (night 1, night 2, etc.) or different strategies to make it a bit less repetitive.

Really cool job for 48h though

Creepy stuff man, lol. I liked the spider AI which didn't just blindly walk in a straight line towards the sleeping person.

Don't know what the purpose of the point system was for, since I could still shoot endlessly even when I got to negative points. Maybe I didn't play enough, but I didn't see any end-goal in sight. Maybe add different waves to break up the gameplay into chunks.

the stuff of nightmares, especially as they never stopped coming. good graphics, appropriate sound fx, fun gameplay although a bit repetitive after a while. I agree breaking it up into different nights or something to give a feeling of progression would help. Solid effort

Very cool concept! The graphics are good and the sound effects are fun! Only problem was that sometimes I didn't hit the spiders even if I vere shooting at them. But that's just small thing. Good entry!

Great game! I would have liked more feedback when the laser hits the spider. I'm guessing they need more than one hit to die? It was hard to tell if my aim was right or not. I really liked how the room got darker with time, it increases the difficulty and makes you panic a little :P. I couldn't save my dude, I'm guessing the spiders are meant to overwhelm you at some point anyway, which is fine. I had a good time!

Even though I must say I object to spider killing games, it was very well made. I let them have a free all you can bite round for fairness. I did really like how you played with the lighting, as well as increasing the amount of spiders, making the game ever harder. Possibly you should limit so player can't get negative scores (or have the laser overheat/be out of order for a while if you hit zero). A bit of combo bonuses and some general online high-score would also increase the reason to play more. You had a variety of speed on the spiders, but you could also have some rare spiders that are more laser resistant. Nice game though, even if it had me killing spiders.

I'm not usually bothered by spiders but this did make my skin crawl a little... I assume that's what you intended so well done! It got genuinely tense as the spiders started reaching the bed.

Overall a great entry - look and sound are atmospheric, shooting mechanic is nicely balanced. Well done!

to work with the light as a Degree of difficulty is cool and the shadows are also nice to watch but the exponantiol growing of the spider population isn't that cool
