You literally killed this Ludum Dare, in a good way though! :D A great detective game with great jokes which fit the theme perfectly, minimalist graphics are really on point and obviously the story and the investigation system are great as well. I enjoyed it thoroughly, thank you!

Nice puzzle. Short and complete.

Maybe you need to make a random generation of clues and suspect, to make a replayibility higher.

Very nice, thanks. One thing about the controls - it's not immediately obvious what you have to do when you are interrogating a suspect (i.e., press left and right to switch questions). It might be an idea to have a prompt or an arrow, unless you are trying not to for a minimalist aesthetic.

this is really cool. Such a smart way of using the theme and building something atmospheric and complete with very minimalistic ways. I really like the selection interface of the lamp above the suspects.
I didn't find the killer though and I am not sure what the mssing link is - I thought it was someone else, because that person lied.
I agree about the controls - a small hint for selecting the questions would be helpful.
Good writing too.

I enjoyed the story. Have the controls using the mouse would have been a bit better but I really enjoyed this. Keep it up.

Great jokes. A simple detective game, very well fitted with the theme. Controls are a bit weird and i needed some time to get used to them.

Sometimes it automatically switched to Windowed even when I configured it to be full screen, and it was extremely uncomfortable to play in Windowed in my PC (1366x768).

Other than that, it was a nice experience. I was able to get into it and spend several minutes trying to find the murderer. I suggest adding some background music, but sound effects did their job. Without a sound effect at the start I wouldn't have tried to push anything to move it forward.

Well done on that, by the way! It's faster than defining the pace yourself; I did something similar in my game. Good job.

Really nice game. If there were more of those I would most definitely play it. Good job :D

Loved the Ludum Dare references, and the polished feel of both the game's graphics and flow. The information sheet regarding the murder and the proverbs when accusing were a nice touch. Everybody loves a detective puzzle every now and then!

Not too bad. I was thrown off by the cook lying about not smoking, or the others lying about him smoking, but that didn't seem to have anything to do with the solution =). I like the setting, too bad you had to kill Ludum Dare...

Cool game, I really liked the concept, I found it a little bit hard, but nothing that prejudice the game.

I also found a bug, the game was showing the orange character very large at the background and texts vanished.

Overall, nice work!

Nice job with this. Short but sweet.

I really liked this game, it is simple yet effective. I liked how many things you had to keep track of, it made it so cool when you finally figured something out. I had a real oh-shit moment when the cooks fingerprint was totally different. So I guess the forth fingerprint was Mr. Ludum Dare himself? Awesome game!

It was very nice, nice concept of detective game, well realized ! I agree to say that playing with the mouse would have been more convenient ;)

It was a little easy and it was not immediately clear how everything worked. I think the autopsy report should be on button 1, because it's the most important thing. Before I read it, I had no idea what to even make of the peoples' answers.

But regardless, the game is very cool and the interrogation room was a nice interpretation of the "one room" theme.

Was fun to play through. The logic was sound and the information was clearly presented. Good job!

Very interesting and cleverly thought out game. Nice minimalistic style as well, very well done game, although I did find those beeps a little annoying other than that, well done! :D

this is a very cool entry. fun and humorous.
the controls could have been more straightforward (especially in the Q/A part) but once you explain it, it's ok

Really neat idea, I appreciate that there's a lot of information given so you have to approach the entire scene as an exercise in drilling down to the important facts. The discrepancies about the cook smoking lead me down the wrong path for a while. The controls were a bit confusing at first, but only took a minute to figure out. Overall this was really cool, nicely done.

Great compo puzzle game, with unique and well designed concept. This is fun, clever, and I love the theme interpretation. The writing was also spot on for a jam game, very humerous, and the graphics, even if they're simple, creates a great atmosphere.

Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/7yEaPmt36yU
