That was really cool! Like the spinning effect a lot, felt trippy af
Oi! I tried for a while, but the level with all the spikes (the last, perhaps?) was really tough. I didn't actually stick around to beat it because the music got pretty grating. I mean, I get what it's going for, but it made it tough... Anyway, only on the second time playing did I realize that the blue pills made you jump higher. Did any other pills/candy have an effect? I think it's fine for the blue pills, since you built the levels out to show that you needed them, but if the others have an effect it would be nice to see something more explicit about it.
Fun little platformer with a great soundtrack. Has a kinda hotline miami feel the trippier it gets :D seriously impressive for having been created in lwjgl in such a short time!
Great job. Solid movement and platforming. I liked the transition effect. If I had a suggestion it would be to jump / fall faster.
In level 3, I fell past one of the first candies on a ledge which I think put me in an unwinnable state.
Well done!
So this is what coding on acid looks like :P. Good game. It was a little too challenging for me once the screen effects got really intense, but I liked that aspect of it. At first I thought renderer was bugging out. Some of the animations and transitions could use polish. Really enjoyed the music.
Pretty cool entry. I love the spin effect between restarting and levels. Also I love how certain things give different effects. The graphics and audio were nice. I didn't like how slow the jump felt, though. Also, while it was cool, the level with the spikes and the tilted screen was too much for me and I didn't finish it. Good work!
