Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Skip Work!

by TiByte - Jam Entry

# Hello there,

we've all been there. Boring work to do,
and all you want to do is skip it.

You don't want your coworkers to notice though,
they are little snitches.

You will still have to stamp your
attendance card at the clock in the top right
every now and again.

Move around the office space using WASD.
You can hide in the objects with SPACE.
Be careful, the items break after you have been
in them for too long.

The game works best in Google Chrome.
A reload fixes the font of the main menu not loading
in other browsers.

This one was interesting. The coworker AI is pretty solid it seems, but I'm not quite sure how the time card works aside from resetting the timer. Either way, nice work with the stealth aspects of it, and nice work with the art. Cheers!

Nice hiding spots lmao. For some reason I thought of the main character as the programmer lol. Been there, done that. Also nice mooding music for a office. Good to see more javascript on the jam. We worked with it too =]

This was a fun little distraction. I think there were too many coworkers introduced a little too quickly. Maybe have the timeclock time a lot shorter and have the additional coworkers introduced more slowly? This could have been a little bit bigger too. I had one game where three people never left the upper right so getting to the timeclock was impossible.

this was quite fun. The art is cute and the gameplay works pretty well. The only thing I would ask to add would be a way to predict where my co-workes will go to next, to allow planning moves ahead. Some more feedback for the stamp machine would also been nice.
The wording in the end screen made me wonder - is there a way to actually win? Or is it just survive as long as possible?
Good job everyone, all in all a really nice entry.

Nice concept and the game was so hard until I realised the AI won't see me until I am a meter away from them which is actually a good thing :D
Kinda disappointed I could not finish the game to feel good about myself and to make me feel accomplished for the rest of the day :D
The hiding spots were funny :D

Solid game.

The game didn't really gave me that much fun - the idea for resetting the clock was boring. Something more challenging would have been better. I like the little eyes when you were hiding. In hiding mode I think the darkness is a little to dark.

Great original idea. I'm not sure I completely understand the clock, but I like the idea of skipping work.

Nice entry! The game kinda escalates too quickly when spawning coworkers and the boss, but nice challenge! Though, if you go straight to the clock, sometimes, it's by far the easiest way. :P

Graphics look cute and with the soundtrack you used for the game, it sets a really nice mood, kinda casual and fun! :)

Nice work there!
