Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
Game about trying to attract your forgotten family members to your apartment by buying cool stuff on tv-shops.
Buy things to add apartment charm. The more charm you have, the more family members will arrive. If you don't order anything, they become bored, and the apartment charm will decrease! Present family members earn money.
Switch Channels(different deals) with arrow keys.
Order stuff by typing the needed codes on the keyboard.

This was a little odd and actually felt like a typing challenge game :)

The concept is pretty fun for a bit, since the rounds seem to repeat themselves over and over. I wish the typing was a bit more responsive; I love typing games but not when the cursor can't even keep up with what you type. :P I love how the items just drop into the room and pile up; the 2D look on them makes it look hilarious.
Audiowise, the rain sounds are pretty annoying and distract from the TV music. But overall I think this is a good entry.
