Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Dungeon Cleaner

by MaxguN - Jam Entry

You are the manager of a room in a dungeon. You have to prepare the room for heroes who dare enter the dungeon and pass by your room. You have limited time to cleanup the mess they have made and setup the room for the next hero.

Place various items :
- Pots!
- Skeletons!
- Imps!
- Gems!
- Hearts!

Order employees to place these items, cleanup the mess and revive the monster!

Play a minigame to rebuild dismembered skeletons!

And finally, cook your own pots!!

Made by:
- MaxguN for the code and some LD/GD

- Gwethelynn for the texts

Made using:

Great Idea with a very solid implementation, the only drawback were the bugs that started popping up. I couldn't create a skeleton sometimes, and I would have to backout of the skeleton creator, and then try again.

The recycling boxes, and other cleanup crew could sometimes be a little unresponsive with the keyboard hotkeys as well. Other than that fantastic game given the time limit, and I see how it could be easily expanded upon. Nice work.

Cool idea but it needs more polish, especially with placement bugs. And more levels.

Unique idea - very clever take on the theme. I like the concept - game needs more fleshing out I feel- but this is a great prototype and I can see this being a lot of fun. Great entry for the jam- I hope you keep going with it. Nice work!

Nice game idea. The artstyle is great and the gameplay felt solid.

Maybe you should consider to not use ESC as a key for an action in a web-only game. I needed to press it twice all the time, because first the fullscreen was disabled.

Also: this game needs sound and music. :)

I played the post jam before the normal and I appreciate the changes you did.
Nice entry, a bit repetitive with not enough challenge yet.
I would have liked to see the hero ruin my hard work, or have special bonus if i respect a correct setup on the room (and not all time all the pots on the near corner)

Wow, there's a lot in here! Nice visuals, just wish it had some audio to fill out the experience.

I love the idea here. I had problems with the interface and got stuck early on, but the main mechanic worked well.

Kind of neat (and actually the second dungeon cleaning game I played this Ludum Dare!). I really like the art style, and the efforts you put into that too.

There's a lot of reading to learn the game, and it's made challenging by the action happening off screen. Perhaps post-jam you can integrate more show-not-tell.

Great art. At first I didn't understand where the gameplay was, but it slowly became apparent.

Enjoyed really hard this entry! Graphics and humor were really nice! It's difficult as part of gameplay is really cool!

Very solid entry, with good potential!

Really cool concept! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :)
