Too bad it was so short, because it was really fun!

I found this game really fun, took me a few tries and I noticed a bug;

When you fail and try again the boss health stays at the top of the screen, you should probably just have a check to see if the boss is instantiated, if it is show the bar.

I found the unskippable intro quite annoying when reading it fifth time...

Gameplay is nice. The monster tends to speed up quite suddenly though, that feels a bit wrong.

Really hard and fun game.
The major feedback I has is that the boss could hint about when he was going to tackle or shoot, be it a sound or a sprite rescaling or something. The way it is, he seems to attack mostly at random and you can't play around it.

That was too short :(
But amazing !!
I managed to beat the boss on second try ! Hahaha
It lacks a music tho.

"I beat the level! I wonder what level 2 is... oh" - me

Yeah, this game is way to short, but fun. Good mechanics but it could use more levels!

It's very Binding of Isaac. It's nice, but it's super short. It definitely could use work, and the audio is pretty bad :/ Other than that, good job

Too bad you couldn't flesh this out a little more.

Fun game but pretty hard! Also a bit hard to see the spikes.

Very difficult! Was quite hard to avoid the spikes and kill the monster. Well done!

The game is quite short, but you have a starting point! :) Overall, the game's fun and really challenging, though I kinda feel that something that engages the player after he exits the room, or different setups for the spikes every time he plays or something else would add more to it. :)

Visually, it has a nice style, but status changes, even if just a single frame, could add more to the visual feedback aspect, and engage the player more. :)

On the audio department, some extra effects, and ambient sounds/music could help set the mood better.

Controls work nice, but a twin-stick/mouse+keyboard would make it feel better playing. The controls feel similar to how Super Stardust plays on the PSP, and I'm not so much of a fan of this (kinda me getting addicted to twin-stick shooters might have influenced that).

But Good Work! :)

A boss with that attack and movement should not be in a room with spikes. :P I will give it to you that you at least don't reset the boss' health. I'm guessing this affects the score?

I like the narrative, and it seems like a good setup to something more that you can do with this idea. So I'd be interested to see how things go should you continue developing this game.
