Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

- There is a special room, where doors of different worlds make a crossroad.

Nice idea, a bit misleading controlls, but overall Mood is amazing!
Enjoyed this game. Really liked both the art style and mechanics. I sat there staring blankly at the menu screen, I had no clue what I was looking at.. but I liked it. I did have a problem with my mouse continously being recentered when trying to purchase things from the PC, but that is more likely a problem on my end than the actual game itself. Really good job, well done :)
It's really weird issue with mouse. And it's from our side. I tried to find it for 2 hours)
Thanks!
I like the visuals and the concept, but using directional controls in isometric perspective makes the character really hard to control.
i like the idea and the style, sets in a good mood. the negative effect when two creatures which don't like each other meet might be too low though, i could just run from one door to another and open it - i still gained more and more money
@limered - yes, you're right we don't want to bother player with this at the start.
But when you will have all ten types and huge rent you will care about each penny and each ones mood)
The game got stuck a couple of times and I had to kill the page, but overall a very nice game ;)
Visuals are great, as much as animations. Unique concept, but I lose really fast.
Very nice game :) Controls are a bit odd, but mood, graphics and idea are great.
Pretty nice game, seems like refusing travelers has no point since you get fined so much.
Great atmosphere. Interesting idea. As people have mentioned before, sets in a good mood. Indeed, takes time to get used to controls.
Overall, game is superb.
Hello from D3C0D3! C;
Loved the voxel characters and animations! The controls were a bit disorientating at first, but I kind of got used to them after a bit of running around. Very challenging to make a lot of profit, as the rent being due kept me from buying many upgrades.
Froze my browser! I liked it when my browser started working again. I had to reinstall firefox from SOURCE
Nice game, the voxel graphics do look great. The meeting mechanic provides a good challenge to think about and hits the theme on the head. And the upgrades give it a nice amount of content. Great work!
Really creative idea, and it mostly felt very smooth. I got used to the isometric controls found a rhythm quickly.
Can't say I ever saw the point of refusing someone -- the travelers were pretty unlikely to run into each other anyway. Maybe I just didn't play long enough to get a heavy flow of traffic going.
The purchase menu was the only thing that felt unfinished. Probably could have left it out and been perfectly fine. Nice job, and kudos on making it through the jam!
Nice game concept. Graphics are nice; you can't really get a good look at them because they are so small. Controls are a bit weird. Still, it's a complete game! Liked the animations a lot as well.
Fantastic entry! Everything is really solid, from presentation down to core mechanics. Only bit I didn't enjoy was the control scheme.
Cool idea, nice art, weird controls. It's just an unintuitive way of controlling a character. Player will have no problem with pressing 2 buttons to go directional, there's no reason to simulate it. I didn't know how to check my current money tho, I think that made me lose the game (not enough for rent).
Unfortunately froze a lot for me. Can't try Windows version right now.
But I get the idea! After a few plays, that is. p: Had no idea what I was doing the first time. The second time I think I got it, but it seemed like people were getting in even tho I hadn't pressed space. So then I concluded that I have to either accept or refuse individual guests or they'll enter anyway. Is that right?
Bit sad, I guess! Such prejudiced creatures! :c
I guess management games aren't really for me tho. The kind where you buy and upgrade stuff. Never really enjoyed that. But that doesn't make it inherently bad of course—just not my cup of tea—so obviously it shan't bring my score down! I'm trying to be as objective as possible.
Charmingly stylised graphics and nice music. The little dance at the start is cute. The sound effects are, well, expected, like the cash-in sound. Very nice.
The only thing I can objectively criticise, and I don't know if that's a web-only issue, was that the shop UI had stuff overlapping itself a lot, with buttons on top of buttons, so it was difficult to get an overview or even to click some of the buttons.
Good job! c:
Controls were definitely pretty misleading. The idea and implementation were very cool. Not sure what the lose condition was.
That was fun, the sound was good - the "hello" made me chuckle.
It's a pretty nice entry you got here. It didn't take too long for me to understand what I should do and the progression was cool. Unfortunately the game froze twice on the browser and crashed the Windows PC I'm on right now. So I had to stop playing it, too bad because it was a promising entry. The music and SFX were well made and fit the game very well.

One of the most unique ideas that I have come across so far. It took me a bit of time to get used to the controls but after that it was great. Very nice visuals, the game feels very polished. I like small details like being able to jump over stuff.
Amazing!
