Hide and Creep

Use your wits and stealth to avoid the killer.


I usually do 2D games at Ludum Dare, but somehow this time I ended up with a 3D game.

My brief was this:

"Survival game where you are stuck in a room with a muderer or monster and you have to move from hiding place to hiding place without getting spotted. You can guess the movements of the murderer by what he says or does when hunting you and during a brief introduction into his murdering methods."

Unfortunately I didn't manage to find time enough for the clues from the killer. I did however manage to get in gameplay, audio, art and interface into the game. Lately at least one of those has been missing from my Ludum Dare games so I was determined to redress the balance.

As always, I wish I could have gotten more done. But it's 48 hours and I need sleep...

Please Note: The killer can turn around in the first couple of seconds and immediately see you. This won't happen every time. Sorry, but I forgot to fix this before the deadline was up.

That was nice :)
I little longer and it would turn out a little boring though.
Fits very well the theme.

Has potential if you had a house and a killer on every room :)

I can see why you made this game one room since that was the theme of the jam, but this would have been a great game through an entire house.

Be that as it may, in a single room is unique and fun game too! It just can get boring with the few options that are available. However! The timer makes up for that nicely.
