Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
In Zombie Room, you're in a room that is constantly changing. Zombies will spawn, and your score goes up when you kill them with your pistol. One shot will kill them, but getting hit by them once will also kill you. Ammo is limited, but you can find more around the level.
UPDATE:
- Fixed issue where movement was way too fast if the game was running really fast.
Default Controls:
- Movement - WASD
- Reload - R
- Shoot - Left Click
- Flashlight - F
- Aim Gun - Move Mouse
Tools Used:
- Unity 5.5
- Blender
- Photoshop
- Bfxr
- A Microphone

so yeah that movement is more like teleportation. i think it would need to be slowed down a bit.
Wow I really loved the whole zombie dynamic of the game. I couldnt take my eyes away once they started coming full force. Growing up, me and my dad would watch a ton of scary zombie movies and it always was something i really enjoyed with my father. We would always ride together to the block busters store to pick up a new zombie flick and i always remember how the seat warmers in my dads car would heat up the back of legs and it felt really good.
The game was a lot darker for me than the screenshots. I wish the player moved slower and I have more bullets. I love the death animation!
Was fun, but could be a bit more imaginative! But well done!
Pretty fun game, I actually enjoyed it. But the movement is too fast, and the pillar color is too similar with the ground.
great game play, but the move speed is too fast so i need to predict is there a zombie if i move that way.
Very difficult to play, you move really fast. I like the idea though.
Always enjoy a good omnidirectional shooter, but this one had me moving like greased lightning... it was hard to avoid moving offscreen and running into something I couldn't see. I did like the raising and lowering columns to add interest to the typical mob fight, but a tiny bit of lighting work to make the columns actually visible would have gone a long way here.
My high score was 30 :)
Great job on developing a game for the jam! I thought of a few things to improve your game.
The camera is very zoomed in making it hard to know if enemies are coming. I did try to use the shadows but I felt like bring the camera out will dramatically increase the fun factor of the game.
The ammo placement was good. I liked that you had ammo and had to reload, If you become unaware of this it's easy to die making it feel like there is a little strategy. Implementing art assets would have been awesome but I understand it's hard to do everything.
Overall it was fun and I enjoyed it, great job :)
Interesting game, though it's quite dark even with flashlight
Interesting idea, yet too difficult to play with that amount of walls. I think this would be better with more space to run.
Weird SFX, btw. Annoying zombie sound, loud shot, strange collision/death? sound.
Fun game! I love the sound effects and the gameplay is a bit strategic with all the walls. I would definitely change the color of the walls though, they are very hard to distinguish from the player. Also it would probably be cooler if the enemies didn't get stuck behind walls that easily. Some music would be nice as well!
Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/uJPQ-kT6kvQ

haha it seems we had the same idea!

But maybe move bak the camera a litle bit and reduce the speed of the player and the game would be more playable.
Althought Good game!
