Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
QUARK is a movement based ego shooter, where you have to collect as many beacons as you can. Destroy the drones to gain time and ammo for your energy grenades.
Tips:
* You can double jump!!
* Jump and rocket boost at the same time!!
* You can use the grenades to boost yourself on walls repeatedly
* Sometimes you want to combine left and right click
* Run along walls with your left click (impact points pull you, when you are close) and catapult yourself with your right click grenades.
Also please watch the video to see some moves you can do!

A nice effort, I died very quickly though. The room felt a bit empty with all the drones clustered around me. Good work for a weekend but I'd like to see more variety.
Quite tough to complete, yet quite satisfying to have a go.
Audio cues were great
Shooter mechanics felt good
Movement was quite slow

Although after watching the video, I think I just wasn't very advanced with how I used the controls.
Very hard for new players. I would have put a better tutorial. Most of the features that are in the video are hard to achieve without hours dedicated playing the game a tutorial will really help with this problem.
Simple yet hard to master. I'm not so sure about the time limit part and having to shoot robots to get more time. I think having the robots shoot you and just trying to get to the end of a puzzle might work. Just my opinion.
Not a bad time-attack Quake-like. I was hoping for more since it was pretty much just shooting slow-moving drones that acted as bullet sponges. However, it moved and played okay... Never got the wall-run to work... I think the time attack needed a bit more feedback and I never felt compelled to learn advanced tactics, but free-roam mode wasn't interesting enough. Just needed a little more framework to get it just right.
Nice game! I think that it is a little bit too slow, but nice work overall.
Shooting mechanics felt great. The ae lob on the grenade was good. Movement felt floaty. Having the free roam mode was great and I needed that space to learn the controls. Current game seemed to start us well into the difficulty curve but I was able to get a few points pretty quickly.
Great entry!
One of the most fun entries so far. Pretty challenging but rewarding once you get used to it. The random spawn of the beacons felt a bit clunky sometimes, since you would be coming back and forth between two points. Level design was also a bit confusing.
Nevertheless, one of the entries I've enjoyed most playing, gj! ^-^
The mechanics is really good, and the game play was challenging to me despite simplicity. I would make environment more varied, but besides that - good work :)
I like the effects and there was really solid fps mechanics. I however found that the time limit made it quite difficult and I think it would be better in the roam mode with some kind of goal there. Nice work overall though!

It was difficult. Could have had more focus on movement rather than hoping that there was enough enemies along the way.
