The Worlds Room

by bellum128 - Jam Entry

**This game is a huge work in progress, and more of an experiment of sorts. I was extremely busy during the competition weekend and I did not have nearly enough time to add virtually any game play. If people play this game, I am aware that item spam will become an issue, so I may clear the database every now and then if this becomes an issue. Also, if I continue work on this game, the APIs I use will likely change or be shut down, so check back for updates if you begin to receive a "Error Loading Room" message if you're interested.**

The World's Room is an experience where the entire world gets one room to place objects in. Place tables, lamps, and paintings to your hearts desire, and the whole world will see your decorating skills in this tiny, cramped room.

I envision that this game could become a "Sims-like" game, where you can buy items and decorate a house shared by other people. Note that you can only place objects in logical places. For example, paintings can only be placed on walls. A monetary system could be put in place to prevent item spam, and custom rooms/homes could also be implemented in the future.

Controls:
-WASD: Move
-Left Click: Place Selected Item
-Scroll Wheel: Change Selected Item
-Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down: Rotate Object

Interesting idea, I played around a little bit and even tried running it with two instances open at the same time and it updated when I placed something in one which was nice. It might be neat to come back to this every now and then to see what people have done.
