Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Battlefield One Room

by Potato & Taco - Compo Entry

Battlefield One Room can be called a puzzle game... technically.
A short little game as this is what I had time for. But I'm satisfied with it!

Alternative title: The Adventures of Dr. Door and the One-Room Key

== The web build is isn't the best... (the cylinder shouldn't be black) ==

This is the first game I've done in Unity.
Untested on mac.
On linux: if the game doesn't start properly, try to run it with "-force-opengl"

Tools used:
- Unity
- Paint.NET
- My ukulele

Move: WASD or arrow keys
Action: Space
(y/n): Y or N
M to mute the music
Esc to quit

Hitting space next to the door with the key in my inventory makes the key re-appear on the floor. Am I missing something?

@Zarkonnen, no you're not. It's supposed to happen :)

The game is okay, but more content would have been great.

That's very meta or I didn't understood the game.

I feel like I'm missing something. I pick up the key, go to the door, and the key goes back to the floor but the door doesn't open. I can repeat that, but...? Anyway hey at least you got something working, and that's always a good thing!

Graphics looked interesting, but I was never able to escape the room. Using the key on the door just caused it to reappear on the floor.

It would be more fair to your reviewers if your description gave some idea of what to expect. Is there more going on here than there seems to be? Or is it just a very simple prototype?

Good concept, but I think too little.
