Elemental Brawl

Elemental Brawl:
Description:
The goal behind Elemental Brawl is to survive each wave. Different colored enemies are associated with a different element which you want to counter in order to do more damage to them. The damage table works as:

Using 'Snow' or pressing [Q] on the blue tile and attacking enemies will be strong against 'Fire' enemies and weak against 'Air' enemies.

Using 'Fire' or pressing [Q] on the red tile and attacking enemies will be strong against 'Earth' enemies and weak against 'Snow' enemies.

Using 'Earth' or pressing [Q] on the green tile and attacking enemies will be strong against 'Air' enemies and weak against 'Fire' enemies.

Using 'Air' or pressing [Q] on the yellow tile and attacking enemies will be strong against 'Snow' enemies and weak against 'Earth' enemies.

Game is good, dashing around is really key and the elemental system is a neat idea. At the current game speed it felt hard to make effective switches between the elements, but it kept the game challenging.

The enemy's look great and I love the volcano 'boss.' Music fits well with how frantic the action can get when a new wave spawns.

Fun game. I really liked the art style. I feel like it could have started a little easier to get us used to the controls.

The element mechanics are quite interesting, I think they have more potential. I like the frantic feeling of it all. I think the biggest improvement could be starting the difficulty and complexity slow, so the player can learn before doing the hard stuff.

Good, i think some enemies need to be slower. Some audio effects will improve the feedback to the user. Good work, keep going!

I really like the graphics and animations, I feel like there coul dbe a bit more difference visualy for the elements and I think I found a bug. When you die once and then you click start again you die within a couple of seconds. Closing the game works.

Good game! Maybe giving ennemies more hp and slowing them down will make the element switching mechanic more releveant. Also some graphic reminder of wich element is strong against wich one.

The element switching feels a bit too frantic to be tactical but that's just because of the pace of the game. The art and music were really good though.

really nice work on the art and mood of the game. however the keyboard config was off, it was too hard to mave and use spacebar. also after dying, when you restart, you start with zero helath. nice entry.
