Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Agree with the other some audio would be nice. Even just some sounds.

Liked the graphics (but you didn't allow voting for it). Also liked the mechanics of "terrifying", I think you can build up on that and get a nice complete game.

Pretty fun. The gameplay itself is quite dull, but the presentation and graphics help a lot. Wish the level changed more each time. The items are nice but not enough to change up the gameplay.

Click to make them go in the opposite direction. Guide them towards the door. There is a button that opens the door in the lower left. One of them has to click that button.

really nice graphics!

without the comments here i would not have understood how to play though. maybe some little tutorial text would be nice.

I didn't really understand why the door was 'randomly' opened or closed until after I read the comments explaining there is a button controlling it - I'd thought it was time based, and was going to suggest having some UI elements showing when it was going to open, and for how long it would stay open.

Now I know it is switch based, I think it would benefit a lot from some in-game method of explaining that, even if its as simple as an overhead exclamation similar to how the NPCs react to mouseclicks, or a colour change like when they hit powerups, to make it clearer what that relationship is.

Maybe even just some arrows and text overlaid at the start of the first level explaining "send NPC here to open door, send NPCs here to make them leave"?

This game could improve a lot with sound. Liked the gameplay and the idea. Well done!

At first I thought I had to prevent them from entering the door to the glory room. Then I realized we were already in the glory room. There's no loss condition I assume then, only a win condition when you get them all to leave?

Rather than waves I would've liked to have seen a few different levels. And I couldn't figure out what the objects they can pick up are.

All in all, an interesting mechanic. There's room in the idea for a more complete game.
