Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

The game where you play as an ~ordinary~ room.
This is our first time doing Ludum Dare! Thank you for the delightful time!
Not working in IE.

I like the art style, it's really interesting. I played for a while, but I never quite figured out how everything in terms of how to attract people into the room, whether eating them was good or bad (it seemed to reduce happiness, which you use to buy things) or what the overall goal was.
I love the concept! It kinda reminds me of that one movie "Monster House." I also like the risk vs reward gameplay. Having the currency be the health and having to spend that currency to boost the rate at which you acquire health is a pretty clever move. The gameplay was simple and a bit repetitive, but I was constantly making strategic decisions about when to buy and how soon I should consume all, which kept me invested. It was a bit annoying that you could die while in the middle of consuming, but that's just about my only gripe. All in all, this was a pretty fun entry.
High score: 344... before I stopped playing.
I like the concept, but there could be more of a challenge!
Great soundtrack and mood!! For one time and one time only, I enjoyed eating those people.

HOrror)))) good idea well ,
the mat immediately seemed suspicious to me)))
Good idea, perhaps more signs&feedbacks and juiciness could be added!
Wow, what a concept :) This was surprising and I like the horror mood of this. I think you should keep working on it, it's fun :)
Who knew consuming party goers would be this hard aha! Great feel to the game! Good job
Yes please come into my room! let the atmosphere consume your soul :D !I love the feel of this one. I encountered some dropped frames idk if it was my end though!
oh! Nice! And it's also online! Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)
Love the concept, nice graphics, excellent sound and music! I was kinda lost though, I didn't get what I had to do to lure more people, and the "buy enticement" button didn't seem to work.
Very creative use of the theme, loved the concept!! ^-^
Hey, I played your game ( https://youtu.be/Ih3tlW0hNQw ). Hope I did it justice.
Cool looking game but somewhat confusing wasn't sure how to get happiness.
Funny concept of One room. Good game in your first ludum dare! Is our first too.
Great concept and a clever mechanic! Visuals and audio were very solid too. A really nice game!
Some nice idea here, but the game seems totaly imballanced ! Sometimes you just see your happiness count drop for no reason (when you eat people) so you can't really go over 15 points. So you just keep bying plants that don't really seem to be of any effect by the way... But it was worth trying !
Good game but hard to understand what need to do and what happening. Please add more gameplay features and improved graphics solution.
Overall the game mechanics aren't very obvious. The game doesn't really give much indication on how to increase your health, or really how to play at all. While there is some hint to the fact that buying stuff may help, it doesn't really explain how they help.
That said, it is a very interesting take on the central theme.
Man this was an crazy idea xD. Funny and weird but cool, i like it.
Awesome use of the theme! The start is quite difficult but once you've got a bear or two, it's much easier to keep your happiness above 0.
A room that consumes humans to gain happiness? Like the idea :D I like that the room has eyes too. I thought I could improve my luring techniques by simply moving the objects closer to the middle to prevent my guests from leaving. Doesn't seem to work but that'll be a cool idea.
This concept is hilarious! Dig the simplicity and the scarlac pit room graphics.

really weird and cool idea. I never would have though about making a room that eats people. Good work.
