One Room Puzzle

by KobiHawk - Compo Entry

My submission for Ludum Dare 37!

Navigate your player through 12 levels, each expanding on the last! Dodge lasers, spikes, and a boss? Save a more pink version of you!

This is a lot of firsts: First game, first submission to ludum dare, and first time using Unity. I know that doesn't exactly sell my game, but thank you for taking the time to play it!

Controls are WASD or the arrow keys.

Objects:
Laser: Charges up a ranged attack.
Spikes: Become active after a unit steps on them, causing damage to any future steps.
Shield: Protects the wielder from one attack while held. Can't hold two shields.

Really awesome!
The tile-based levels were really good!
I liked them because you could always predict exactly what would happen so you can plan your way to the exit.
Except I found the witch boss person a bit confusing...

Very cool! Especially solid considering all the firsts! Reminded me of the game Chip's Challenge that used to come with windows back in the day..

This was a really solid entry for your first Ludum Dare game! While it was a simple design the mechanics made it challenging and that in turn made it fun. Well Done!

Nice game. I like that you can plan your moves, and there are no ways to get trapped (at least not that I ran into). Good game :D

Awesome! Great use of the theme. Game play felt good, and it was just as long as it needed to be.

Really great game and clever use of the theme! The puzzles were well designed and I liked the boss at the end.

Wow, I loved those riddles and level design. The game mechanics are pretty simple, but they work like a charm. The boss fight was a nice change for the end and then finally I rescued my pink love. <3
I missed some kind of background music. :)
