"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

This is the error we got when we tried to run the latest version :(

Very pretty! But yeah, I couldn't figure it out. I like how the books change color as they move. :)

The graphics were really good. They added nicely to the mood of the game. I don't know how much of it was done within the time of LD since its a jam entry but I think you pulled it together nicely. Often using premade assets gives the game that jarred look of mixing things but you did well hiding it. If you did use premade assets that is. If not, holy shiiit. Anyway, good job, I liked it :)

While I haven't downloaded the game, the 600+ MB file size really put me off, is there enough content to justify the large size?

Holy crap, this is most of a gigabyte.

it may cause that you have not prereq. Go to the \Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us and install UE4PrereqSetup.

Sad to say I couldn't figure out how to beat it... found a couple numbers though. High quality graphics, but the interaction was a little janky sometimes. Enjoyable to poke around in the room though. Nice work!

I really like the basis for what you have here! I thought the cinematic intro looked really great and wowed me compared to other ludum dare games! Gameplay wise, I think you have great base mechanics for an adventure game. If I were to suggest some gameplay improvements, I'd suggest you increase the player speed as well as improve the mechanics of handling physics materials. On the art side, I liked the style you were going for (very similar to life is strange). I'd suggest adding more content to the apartment (or whatever the room was) and filling up the environment as the game as a whole felt a little bare. I'd love to see where you take this game and what you add on to it. (I'd also be interested to see what additions you make to the story)

Sorry, what platform does this games support? I have MacOS 10.12, can I play it?

This reminds me of a couple of games from mid-late 90s that were "Myst clones" (it's fair to say it's a genre now) that were based in South America and jungles and stuff - can't remember their names. I had great fun with the flashlight and bed. And I had about 300 cokes come from the machine. Great joy kicking the ball too. It's like Garry's Mod light. Couldn't figure out the numbers though. 4 lights, 7 behind machine and table/board. 2 couches? 1 vase? 4 safE? I dunno.

The cinematic intro was great, but I think it would benefit from focusing the cup a lot faster. The step sound effects sounded like he was stepping on gravel, but he's on a wood floor. The rest seemed great, neat mechanics. I couldn't solve the puzzle, but that is probably my fault. Keep up the good work!

I could only find two numbers... one I just saw because I clipped through an object... which surely isn't the intended route. I saw no way to move the vending machine though.

Intro is cool, but should probably be skippable as I had to restart a couple of times because items sometimes fell through the floor (especially the notes)

Vending Machine: The Video Game is a great game, and by far the most difficult one I've played so far. Here was my high score:

The level with the floating enemies was pretty cool:

It did get dark, but thankfully the trees were able to give me the strength to get through the trying times:

Unfortunately, there's a bug where once your score gets high enough- you get flung out of the map and have to close the game.

Great job, I'd love to have leaderboards.

O..k... looking at the tutorial, no wonder I couldn't find any solution to anything - I cannot move the soda machine, the couch, etc. What button am I supposed to press to move those? I can pick up smaller items like the cups and cans fine.

I loved the graphics and the overall mood. I wasn't able to move the couch, so I didn't find those numbers. And there was no number on the vase either... So I'm a bit confused :)
