Ludum Dare 37 — December 9th-11th, 2016 — Theme: One Room

Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

One room to another

This is an awesome logical platform game! I don't know that it doesn't look like superior game but you must try it! You jump with space, walk with arrows and change switch with left ctrl. I haven't time to do many levels, maybe I will upload it also for jam!
It's arcade-logic-platformer!

Quite challenging! At first, the stick man was moving way too fast for me, but I sorta fixed this by relaunching the game in a higher graphics quality mode rather than the default "Fastest" or "Fast" mode. Maybe movement speed needs to have a Time.deltaTime multiplier in there so it's more consistent across frame rates, I think.

I was able to do most of the levels! Except for level 3. Jumping on that tiny moving platform took a bit of practice, but doable! But I was totally stumped at what I was supposed to do to get onto the second tiny platform. The nearest platforms I considered jumping to it from are either too far, or in the wrong dimension. I even tried to see if I could run at full speed off of the larger platform in blackworld and lodge myself onto the side of the tiny moving platform, but it was still too far to do even that. Or maybe my timing was still off. I only reached that point twice, haha.

Really made me think! I couldn't think hard enough, but I still liked the challenge! :P I liked the simplicity of the graphics too. Sometimes that's all you need! Nice job!

There should be quicker way to restart a level because the levels has a lot of trial-error in them.

Yeah I know. It's very alpha :) I started 10 hours before the end of the compo so it wos super hardcore :P. Sorry for not working restart - in post-compo version (1.05) almost every bug has been fixed and it's playable. Try it!

I like this one! Once you got into a rhythm it was doable. Also liked the behaviour that landing near the edge of a platform, you could continue to stay on it only by running toward the platform--that forces you to jump from there or fall, but you get a moment to think about it. Stick figure anims were great. Slippery physics were tricky. Even with the 1.05 though there seemed a bit of a cruel bug, if you went through the door at the end of the level, it gives you one menu, then you go to use the mouse, and your character has apparently continued to run off the screen, so the menu suddenly changes to "you lose" even though you had already won. So it's not a safe win. But, that is made OK by the fact that you can just go to the starting menu and pick the next level. :)

Cool stuff. Why get rated in the audio category though? I didn't hear any...

One of the coolest game ideas so far! Really good potential. However, the air acceleration makes the game really hard to play, which is unfortunate.

Very nice entry. The game mechanics are nice and you force the player to think "where was that other platform again!". Sound and music would have made the game even more interesting. Another thing to improve: Just restart the level with space (instead of grabbing the mouse and clicking two buttons). ;)
Very well done!

Unplayable, when i press right arrow, the character accelerate way too fast and goes out of screen resulting in a game loss. Even if i press slightly and quickly.

Really need a quick restart level button, although was quite enjoyable... good work

Collision is way too buggy - I cannot get past the first level, because I always run into the higher platforms and cannot climb on to them.
