Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

A simple physics-based 2.5D puzzle game with 8 levels.
Each level is divided up into "rooms". Only one these is active at a time, selected by clicking on the room. Select rooms in the right order and move purple pieces around with the mouse in order to navigate the white cylinder towards the flag.
I hope you enjoy playing it! It was a lot of fun to complete this for my first Ludum Dare.

Definitely solid! Played it through and the freezing time/physics in frames creates some interesting moments.
The purple blocks seems a little overpowered though. Sometimes you can almost guide the ball all the way by grabbing the block in the right window and moving it.
Yup timgarbos, I feel the same way about the purple blocks. Intended to have some other things instead for a couple levels that weren't controlled by the mouse, but I couldn't get them to work in the 48h unfortunately.
Thanks everyone for the ratings so far!
Great concept & level design!
The music is very motivating & playful. :)
I really love the concept of your submission! Levels are neat and quite enjoyable. However, some item behaviors were a bit confusing. Still not sure that ability to move throw the walls wasn't a bug in all cases.
Anyway, good job!
Wow, very original idea! I played it all the way through, except for level 6, I couldn't figure it out.
Level 4 felt a bit messy (I just "threw" the cylinder on the red button using the purple thingy, is there another way?). The purpose of the light purple objects didn't became clear to me until the very last level (which I enjoyed most).
The clean graphics support focus on the levels. Nice music! I enjoyed this, thanks for making it!
Great idea and innovation on the theme! Good job <3 Make more level pls
I like the idea, but I didn't get along very well with the levels. A lot of the time I knew exactly what I had to do, but the exact positioning was too finicky to pull off. I think this would be alleviated by allowing the player to undo the last room activation, but I also think you could have made a large set of interesting levels which involved just activating rooms in the right order (ie, no purple blocks, which add way too much entropy imo). The last level was my favourite.
Also, I would suggest making the purple blocks set r rather than apply target f, a lot of the time I got caught out because I forgot that letting go would not position it exactly relative to my mouse.
Good entry!
Good puzzles and I like the partial time stop mechanic. I definitely think with more levels and a few tweaks you have a great game on your hand.
Finished 5 levels. I did not understand the freezing at the first time but after a few attempts i realized what i have to do. This is what made this game special at the end. Well done!
Great game, very innovative concept! Didn't like the music though...
Very innovative, and I have a weakness for puzzle games so I love it. Easy to play as far as controls go. Great entry!

I like it! I thought the mechanic was very creative and a good use of the theme. I'm a fan of the levels that are more puzzle based as opposed to mechanics, but overall solid entry!
