Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Hey player!

The theme for this jam was One Room.
We decided to make a platform game that only has 1 room. The room is a room you will replay mulitiple times, but the difficulty will increase because of stage hazards. The hazards are: Spikes, which slow you down, trapdoors, which let you drop down and cannons. The cannons stun the player that gets hit.

The controls are:

f11 for toggle fullscreen
enter for accepting
m for toggle music
left mouse for navigating the menu if not using a keyboard or controller

wasd for movement,
shift for running
and space for jumping


arrow keys for movement,
z for running
and x for jumping


xBox controller:

D-pad or left stick for movement
B or RT for running
and A for jumping.

!! Wall jumping:
Step 1: Place your character adjacent to a wall (at least touching).
Step 2: Input your character away from the wall (opposite arrow, opposite direction of the gamepad stick) & press the jump button at the same time.
Step 3: Succes!
For this whole process you have about 5 frames to input. Good luck :P.

The objective of the game is to complete all levels in the least amount of time possible. The times get saved and the player who has the best time will win. If one cannot manage to finish within 15 seconds of the first player finishing, the next room will automatically load and the score of those who did not manage to finish will be the time of the first player + 15 seconds.

Can't make it up the area right above the initial door. Still, looks pretty neat!

@kd7uiy: You need to do a wall jump to get there. Wall jumps are done by pushing the opposite direction and pressing the jump button at the same time when adjacent to a wall.
