Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
Well. This was my first game jam and only my second game ever made, but I think it turned out alright.

Nice graphics and a cool concept but I wish that you could shoot sideways when an enemy reaches the groud.
Absolutely infuriating. Love it. Slightly higher fire rate would make missing enemies less of a problem, but hey, challenge.
If it is the second game you ever made, I'll buy your fifth game!
I really like the way how the dude holds the gun! :D It is pretty hard, the longest time I laste is 1:10 cause then the eye dudes started to destroy me. The graphics are really nice! It also might work pretty well on mobile phones.
I liked the concept of a modular gun! There's a ton of design space in that, it's cool. Also, I loved the shopkeeper demon's animations. Got the emotion across with very few pixels.
Congrats on completing your first game jam! Pretty cool game here. I agree that being able to shoot horizontal once they reach the ground would be nice.
Yeah, got all the upgrades! I really had fun with this game, nice mechanics and progression. The sounds were a bit too simple, but no exactly a problem.
Nice work!
The current version works fine on my Mac. Fun! But also really hard (though admittedly a bit out of my wheelhouse). Keep up the great work!
Loved it :) I like the ability to upgrade the weapon too, the graphics are polished and I could easily sit here playing this forever to get the upgrades lol.
Very cool concept! The controls are very smooth, and the art just works really well. I felt a bit underpowered, and it was weird that I had to control the shop-menu with my mouse, while the rest is controlled by keyboard.
Very well done!
The game is very challenging but I am bad at games so it might just be me.
I really like the art style.
very nice work!
Nice little shooter, shooting enemies on the ground would be a cool.
Really nice game, perfectly paced and really fun to play. Hard at first but gets a bit easier as you upgrade and the last gun and bullets are crazy OP! I spent way too much time playing this :) (little bug, gun still shoots after death)
I thought at first that I needed to shoot sideways. Oh boy, I was wrong! You are going to get hooked, you are going to find a demon clerk, and crazy eyeball monsters (I called them: Jack, The Ball...) Very funny game. Love the art ;)
Nice, one. However, difficulty with aiming makes it really hard
Combining mouse for interface and keyboard for game play breaks the immerse into game. Controls why i should keep pressing space if there is no meaning involved in not shooting especially when you start waves i dont see any way to stop them so it could turn on auto fire. Second thing keeping gun on side makes it hard to aim its more luck than my decision just run left right and hope to hit something. Is there a way to shoot side ways? I like that little animation in shop but interface should wait for it to end to open. The game play is fun but it has some minor inconveniences.
Huh...That was fun. I had a lot of trouble until I figured out how to equip the stuff I bought from the store. By the time I got the spread gun I didn't even have to play anymore...pretty much just held down fire and moved side to side...didn't even have to look at the screen. That being said I DID play it for quite a while so I'd say mission accomplished!
I like what you've done with the theme here, subtle as it is (seemingly no separate 'modes', but still have a shop menu).
Other than that, I have to second most of the other commentators, it feels realy counterintuitive that there is no way at all to get rid of those on the ground.
One last thing; when you're dead, falling coins still register when they hit you. Is this on purpose?
Solid gameplay.
The sound effects were a bit annoying over time.
Also the weapon upgrades should be installed as soon as you purchase them. It took me several minutes to figure out that they weren't equipped automatically and I had to manually do this with the mouse.
And the difficulty curve could be a bit mor epolished. As soon as you have all upgrades you pretty much can't loose.
Also the enemies' bullets should be better distinguishable from the player's bulets. Maybe make the player's bullets green or blue or something like that.
But it is stil a good entry. Just some polish that could be done to further improve it.

Doesn't seem to work on MacOS, sorry : (
