Finn and the Enchanted Chamber

by therealplexus - Compo Entry

Finn was on another dungeon crawl, when he stumbled into this room. An evil wizard put a spell on it a long time ago, making it very hard to leave. Even if you find the right levers to open an exit, you might find yourself walking into the same room again, except this time, things are slightly different.

Finn and the Enchanted chamber is a platform/puzzle game. Find your way out by pulling levers that make the walls appear or disappear.

Controls: left/right/up + space to pull the levers
z = undo (experimental)

Graphics are drawn from scratch in the Gimp.

The game is written in Clojurescript using the Phaser.io game engine.

There are currently two levels.

Good puzzles. The jumping felt a little bit too floaty, though. You could try increasing your gravity.

Nice job. The controls could use some work.

Nice start for a puzzle platformer. The platform mechanics are glitchy though. It would be great if it had more levels.

I agree that the jump felt quite floaty. A little more work on the feel of movement would go a long way.

Congrats on your first LD entry :)
