Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Really good looking, nice job on the art direction. Interesting gameplay.
Pretty cool game and a nice realisation. Music was really nice. I found the storyline a bit weak and the question list couldn't hold enough questions in the end, but overall a very solid entry. Well done!
Interesting game with nice graphics and sound effects.
The gameplay remind me the Phoenix Wright games so thanks a lot for bringing me back memories !
I realli like the art, because I'm artist myself. Good job!
Wow, the art is reaaaaally great and I don't know when you found time to record every dialogs.
The story seems a bit weak but for a jam game it's pretty decent.
Good work!
It was fun, nice graphics in that french comic book style. The dubbing is a nice and courageous effort ^^
I liked it, however, there was one thing that wasn't well done - sounds playing over each other when you clicked on something, and no subtitles for the player.
Other than that, really nice hand drawn graphics! And kinda amazing you created a storyline for a adventure game. :)
Great game! I went for 3 playthroughs but still didn't figure out how Margaret died! Hope there is a walkthrough sometime soon as I would like to know how this ends! Great art and really impressive amount of dialogue. Well done!
Perfect art, music and sound design, high quality entry very nice job! :)
The game looks very well and have a good narrative! Good job!
Excellent graphics, great music, good voice acting, really a great game :D good job
Thank you all for the comments ! Don't hesitate to share the game with friends!
oh! Nice! is it like a sherlock holmes game? Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)
The illustration of this game is one of the best I've seen so far. I've found that you can click really fast to the important items and they get overlapped, you should solve that minor problem. Overall, really solid entry. Keep up the good work!
Wow! Easily the best entry I've played so far. That it is so fleshed out and polished for a game jam is incredible!
graphics and art are amazing, the story and the interactions are amazing really good submission! good job!
Nice job! It is really good looking game. With regard to controls there is some space to improvement, right? I like it! :-)
Wow, thats was sure a very good intro here at ludum dare jam. Great job at doing this investigation and point-click game, where every detail really matters and the game has a very good mood and tension too. Awesome job!!
The polish is awesome for a Ludum Dare game, I can't believe my eyes, I just had a problem: after ask all the questions of a categorie, the bottom box is now empty and I can't get back to the selection of the categories, maybe I miss something on the controls ? I don't know.
Unfortunately i cant open the game, follow the error
"Unable to load mono library from "C:/Users/reyli/Desktop/MaggiesGrinningSoulv1.3/MaggiesGrinningSoulv1.3_Data/Mono/mono.dll" (error = 126)."
@luke : On what OS are you trying to launch the game ?
Really great work. Awesomely polished aesthetics and gameplay that kept me interested.
Really awesome work. Good music, art and compelling story. Extra points for all the David Bowie stuff on the game xD
Very nice coordinated visuals and sound. The incremental discovery sometimes was a bit arbitrary but that is hard to avoid in a single space and with 3 days time. The accents on the voiceovers gave it an extra charm. Very good team effort, 8 people are a lot to coordinate in such a short time frame.
Oh, and I always knew that [CENSORED] was evil.
i totally got engaged with your game. it is so awesome. the graphics are just perfect. the voice acting was great. the mechanics i liked. i just felt that the transition between rooms could have more feedback maybe a button. overall it was so awesome. congrats!!
Amazing polish and execution, the game is immersive right away and the writing is pretty good.
One of the best entries I've played, congrats!
Really well made game - nice voice acting as well! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/Wd_0kXhgUR8
Nice Game!
I really like the art and it's really well done(I couldn't do that)!
Also please go ahead and test out my game!
Excellent game, I liked the plot, took me one a few games to figure out the order of things. Great graphics, fitting audio.
Great voice acting and music, great art, and interesting story. You definitely stuck to the theme, although a one-room adventure game might not be the most original idea...
Once I figured out how it worked, the "wrong question" mechanic was pretty cool. I like how it encourages you to focus your line of questioning rather than trying to explore all the branches at once.
I didn't really like the "click on objects for inspiration", though. I ended up just closing the ouija board and then just quickly clicking through every item in the room, then opening it back up. I think it might have helped if the ouija question menu had little icons of the objects that inspired the question, since it's hard to keep track of when you've got a large number of choices to scroll through.
My one complaint is that you didn't have subtitles during the actual game. It's not super-essential, but it would be nice for accessibility.
Damn, that game was engaging ! I didn't see the time running... And asking the wrong question gave me shivers haha, well played, that was a great game !
Oh, and did you made the "you've found a clue" music? Cause I absolutly love it
Wow. Amazing job, guys. Jesus.
Great voice acting, the art is so beautiful, the sound effects were spot on too. It's a simple game, but very engaging, the story got me hooked. I wasn't quite sure what was wrong or not to ask, so it was little frustrating to restart (I closed the game and did not pressed restart) and gather all objects again. Splendid entry. Congratulations!
This game is so well-polished. And I had a lot of fun playing it!
Great point-n-click, nice mechanic, you get into the groove of selecting a question and then hunting for the object quite easily.
It's convenient just to click all the objects (again) when you're not sure which is meant. This means on one hand that you don't get stuck easily, but it becomes a bit monotenous on the other. Especialy when you lose the hangman once...
Just a couple of minor typo's:
'... the wronD crowd'
'... with that kind of things' (should either be '... those kinds of things' (plural) or '... that kind of thing' (singular))
Also in the narration:
'... looks like (a) bad omen'
Not to nitpick, just so you can fix them :-)
I start the games 3 times, noting the "wrong" questions on a paper and i finally quit without knowing the end, too long... :s Don't have the patience to start again a fourth time.
Very well executed, the audio is very great (maybe excepted the introducing voice ^^)
Le jeu est trop bien et les dessins sont magnifiques, la suiiiiiiite!
Très bon jeu les dessins sont magnifique et l'histoire est accrochante, vivement la suite !
Oh boy! This is a good game! I felt so immersed and do you all made a great work! Nice voice acting, music and gameplay. Congrats!
I also included this game in an article of my favorites! http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-ludum-dare-37-gwqmcmek
