Neon Death Cube

by Deamonboy - Jam Entry

NEON DEATH CUBE!

In the far flung neon covered cyberfuture, you are one of several cyber warriors training in the digital fields of... THE NEON DEATH CUBE!

NEON DEATH CUBE is an arena shooter where the players can turn the walls and ceiling into the floor. 2 to 4 players.

Created in aproximatly 48 hours ( we love sleeping) by a few 2nd and 3rd year students from NHTV's CMGT-IGAD course ( game development ). Most of the team had to deal with a lot of first times ( Networking ,changing gravity working with unreal).

Controls :
Movement is WASD
Change gravity : aim at a wall and press Q.
Use the mouse to look, left mouse to fire!

Fullscreen mode : alt+enter

Connecting :

Make sure you have steam enabled.
One player hosts the game, the other players can join the game.

The host has to select the map through game settings, please select the untitled map.

Can't connect? Use internet to host the game, don't choose more then 4 players.

The game is reasonably buggy, but playable.

These graphics are AMAZING for a jam game! Seriously impressed! (Unless you made them before the jam).

If you could find a way to make the file size smaller, that'd be great (Seriously almost half a gig? For a jam game!?)

I've always been a sucker for neon, and with the great style, I HAVE to give 5 stars (For graphics).
