Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

PacMan with a twist. Guide the hero (ball) to the coins, beware of the ghosts.
The more times you clear a room, the harder it gets. How many times can you clear the room?

Click with mouse button or spacebar in the direction the arrow is pointing. The longer you hold the button down, the stronger the ball release will be.

Edit: I got a couple of questions about the music. It is "auto generated" music using an online-tool called Incredibox. This tools makes it easy, even for somebody like me ;), to create something that sounds like music. (

I seem to have forgotten the extra info for this game:

I used:
- Brackets
- Paint.Net
- Incredibox
- Bfxr

Please note that I have only tested this on Chrome v54. (Time-constraints)

It seems the embedded game doesn't work well for everyone, might be better to click the Web-link!

(Of course I would like to have made it more "gamy" but I am happy I had something at all in 48 hectic hours. First time using Phaser)

Wow! Superfun game, and innovative as well, it's a wee bit hard though, seems like there's no thought where the ghosts appear in relation to the coins, so you die a bit to early, perhaps reset lives when you clear a level? Love the graphics and the audio! Great job!

Really good game with a clever gameplay. Minimalist but addictive - and I had fun playing it. However the soundtrack is a little bit annoying. Overall, it is good. Well done ++

The embedded game freaks out a bit in my browser window, but it's remedied if I go fullscreen. A fun concept, I could see myself playing a mobile version of this.

At first I thought you had to wait until the ball stopped totally before being able to move it again, but once I figured out you could move the ball all the time the game became more dynamic and fun.
Some nice sound effects here, even though I'm not a huge fan of the music.
Anyway, nicely done !

Music was awesome, the idea was allright, but maybe with more time you could make it a little bit more interesting.

Did you make that music in the 48 hour period? It's fantastic! Other than that the game is pretty cool. The only problem I had was that often when starting the next level there would a ghost at the start point and I would immediately be hit and lose a life unfairly.

Also as a small note, I'm very happy with the small note, making the arrow to shoot alternate the rotation direction made it much easier it make controlled movement faster. It is much appreciated.

Cool idea. Rotation is somewhat unpredictable, but the idea could be expanded on into a really nice game. :) Well done.

The music was a big surprise, did you make it? :-o It could've been a bit longer, but nice work!

The controls were a bit hard, and the instructions were a bit hard to read at the start of the game (maybe if the font had an outline or a shadow or something?), but the game was on the fresher side, even if really difficult :D

Great game ! I like the fact that the time it takes me to realise that i pressed the button at the wrong moment makes me rush faster into the ghost haha

I like the mechanics and overall gameplay. I think levels could be bigger, and also sometimes ghost appeared very close to coin.

Great game, I love it! It simple to pick up but quite fun and challenging to play!

Very original entry! Overall well done. Relying purely on timing to shoot the ball is a little frustrating though. Collision is a little dodgy.

Interesting control scheme. The way the levels are generated sometimes makes losing lives inevitable, though.
