Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Hahaha I really like this kind of games, I like the music but I do not know why it's cut sometimes. In general I love the game, this fun, the graphics and thematic in general remind me dwarf fortress. Good job guys.

the music does actually loop properly, it's just something to do with the engine. It may work better with less tabs open. Thank You

I really like the idea of the game, however it seems hard to lose, unless you get impatient and try to rush to the next gem. However, in general I really like the game, and the graphics, thematics, mechanics, and music all match really well. Nice job guys!

Neat game! Gives me a c64 / old school computer vibe! Simple, but enough there to make it fun. The music and sound effects fit the style.

My main complaint is the controls. The delay between moves is somewhat too long, and I often waste a turn by accidentally doing the same move twice because I started to spam the key to compensate the delay. It would also be nice to be able to face a direction without walking as well in certain situations. For example, when an monster is a block behind you.

Other then that though, it's a solid entry! I enjoyed it quite a bit!

The arcade look and feel fits the concept nicely. Great game to kill some spare time.

Really like the old school graphics and the turn-based movement system feels really nice.

Hard. Quite hard but very interesting. I tried a couple of strategies, but I die after collecting the 3rd thing. Great entry.

Cool little game :) Everything fits together. I missed some more indications of how to proceed, I just went for the diamonds, but died quite fast.

Really fun tiny game! btw, why do you write the instruction? The game is pretty clear without it

Wrote the instructions because some playtesters couldn't figure out some mechanics

A nice simple concept, and the simple artstyle suits this. However, the controls feel a bit too sticky, making the game a bit annoying to play.

Oh my god, I suffered a lot being catched by the monsters haha! Very cool idea and it fits perfectly the theme.
The only thing I might change is the sound efect of moving, it gets a bit repetitive.

Very cool :D!!!!

Really nice combination of sound and mechanics :) However I'll make it a little bit hard, poor monster must have a chance.

Seems to be simple at first, then we die, again, and again, and it become fun!
