It's a lovely game. I know how it is in game dev, that it's always easier to make games harder and this game is hard, but it's also the way it should be. It took me forever to finish, but I wouldn't have liked it any easier.

Graphics are cute and responsive and there was no weapon I didn't use (even the Ion canon, which at first, I thought was rubbish).

Good job on that!

Love this. Stupidly hard, but never feels unfair. And I like how it changes every time.

Neat idea, making a tiny game and spending basically all your time on polish.

I love the consistent art style, and the graphics are pretty. Quite innovative with the whole "hitting the roof shoots down a laser" thing. All in all great job though!

Pretty good art style, most weapons are fun to use, having to change weapons is a good idea (reminds me of Super Crate Box) but it remains too hard/unfair for my taste. Nevertheless, it's really well polished. Congrats !

Love tiny games like this. The difficulty is slightly above my gaming skill (more of a dev myself) so it's perfectly challenging for me. Love the very art! IT'S SOOO CUTE!

Nice spin on the Pang! mechanics! I love the game even though I had to give up in frustration. My main problem is that some weapons make the game too hard.

The sprites are simple but effective and pleasant; same for sound. Overall I really liked this.

Reminds me of some of those old flash games you would see with the bubbles or balloons, that you would have to destroy with like a hook or something. Except this takes that all the way up to 11. Like geez, I was having trouble by intro 3! This is absolutely insane. Love me a hard difficulty game though.

This was a fun challenge. I only got to level three because it was way to hard for me, but it was hard in a good way. I really liked the art.

This is so tough. But it's the good kind of tough. It kills you inside but you still keep trying. And then you die again. Had to buy a new monitor because I accidentally slipped my keyboard into the old one while playing this. Finished it eventually in 2431 seconds. That's only 40 minutes for five levels! A really good game, the game play is super tight. The ion cannon wasn't useful at all though :D
Another big nitpick is a bug with ICBMs. If you stood right next to a wall on the left, it killed you x_x

That was so hard ! Barely managed to beat the first room ! XD
But it's a really funny game, realization is well done and controls are perfect, great job !

Beated in 2190.I liked this game very much. So addictive and so rewarding (when you finish it). You realy tested my skills with that game. Waiting for a certain weapon was a bit annoying but it doesn't really matter cause it's the part of the game. Overall this game is great. Reminds me of 8-bit games that i played a lot. I'll be waiting for the next challenge. Good Luck.

I am not good at this game at all, but I had a good time. :P The graphics are fitting for a game of this difficulty; I like the use of screenwrapping and how the colours of the room change upon a replay. Oh and the fast respawn was a definite plus. This entry offers a good kind of challenge.

I beat it in 834 seconds! Maybe one of the most fun and challenging game of this jam. All weapons are useful due to the great level design. It just needs some music and more sounds to be really effective, but it's already really enjoyable to play! Well done :D

Too little control; too much random. I would of enjoyed this a lot more if I could select weapon, instead I just suicided until I got desired weapon.

I beat it! And it took only an hour or so. I feel proud now.

I don't think I have to lose many words about the style, you know it's great. Controls are tight as usual, the weapons feel awesome to use.

It's hard, but fair. You always have all the information and it looks easy, but then you make a tiny mistake and you're dead.

The only thing missing was a soundtrack, it felt a bit barren without that.

Somehow I made it. Took me 1965 seconds (and I even quit the first level once to change the resolution resetting my time) The game was really fun but it would have been even better if galaxy would always spin in the same direction (or if I knew how the direction was decided; assuming it isn't random) Also the placement/initial movement of the 'bubbles' often felt too random. Absolutely great game nonetheless.

This is nice. I wish there was music, and especially more types of weapons. Maybe a level select with a weapon selection as well, to try to beat the levels with each type of weapon. I think there was a lot of randomness to the success (or lack thereof) in a level, based on the enemy spawn points and the weapon you got. Also, the galaxy weapon seemed like genuinely the worst in the game. Part of it was the fact that it would make the game extremely laggy if I spammed a couple of projectiles, maybe that's a wine thing though.

Good job overall though, kept me playing for quite a bit.

This game is awesome. The graphics have character and the feel is on point. And even though it's super-crazy-hard and you keep having to start over, it very cleverly avoids feeling repetitive by changing up the graphics and the weapons. Those weapons!! It's also slick that it gives the weapons twice before cycling, because that lets me acclimate a bit.

So many nice touches in a strong entry here.

I do want to give my one and only complaint though: I spent what feels like about 20% of my playtime staring at the GAME OVER screen. That would be a fast restart time in most games, but I often died in the first couple of seconds here, so that restart time eventually built up to like hammering-the-keyboard-in-rage slow for me if I caught a few bad deaths in a row. I probably would have played twice as long as I did if the restart was absolutely instantaneous. I wanted the difficulty, but the punishment eventually outweighed the crime when I screwed up (aka every time).

It's fair that I might just not be good enough, though.
