Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

The One Roomed House

This is my first Ludum Dare game so ya with only about a million loops of "eye of the tiger" I made this.

arrow keys or wasd to move space to jump and r to reset.

The goal of the game is to escape your single roomed house.

sorry its only in standalone I was not aware that webgl hated the lockCurser function :/

hint in case you're stuck: maybe you need to go through multiple exits in a certain order, pay attention to numbers you see...

fixed velocity when dropping items

quick note I hope its ok that I updated the game after the jam ended seeing as it was kinda a game breaking bug.

Congratulations on making a game.

Interesting idea and mechanics... although was it really as simple as just opening door and going out (or I'm missing another point?)

I'm a little confused. Each time I thought I'd found a way out the game appears to just reset. I'm assuming this is its way of saying "hah, nope not that way!", but it's a little unclear if I won or not.

One suggestion on the physics: it seems objects are still updated while you're holding them, including keeping track of linear/angular velocity, so when you let them go they'll often go spinning/flying away rather than dropping where you place them. It would be a lot easier to manipulate things in the room if they'd just have no velocity while being held.

I had a lot of trouble manipulating the items, I couldn't beat it :/ Also, the text is pretty hard to see against the background

Oh, I see, I need to reach that "door" on the ceiling, right?! Couldn't do it, though. Manipulating objects is hard - they spin all the time and fly everywhere when placed... If that is fixed - it can be fun small physics game :)

I got my head almost up to the hole in the ceiling and then the TV flew off.

so people seem to be having a little trouble winning here's a hint you might need to go through multiple exits in orders (try paying attention to numbers you see)

Good idea! Interesting to play. Hard to place items correctly. Please add better graphics solution to game and more gameplay features!

If only I could control the rotation of the objects !! I'm kidding I have the same thing on my game :)

Very beautiful environnement but the objects are too lights, they fly away on each hit.

@big cow when you climb up look forward when you jump it makes you slightly taller and easier to get in (i have no idea why)

I escaped through the door, the window and the ceiling. As far as I can tell, I tried them in all possible orders.

Good job on your first entry though! The squeaky shoes were entertaining at the start but got a little annoying after a while. The physics got a little mental quite quickly. The text was very difficult to read at times, because of the colours used. Some more/clearer in-game hints toeards completion might help.

@Flaterectomy thanks for the input if i ever do anything with this game i will probably make the hints clearer however i assure you it is in fact possible just i might have made it a little to impossible to figure out
