Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
One Room, One Core. A game made in 48 hours.
Can you defend the only power source left in the entire world? The world's fate will be decided by you in this One Room.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO PLAY
The game plays like a simple Tower Defense game.
You start out with a number of credits, which you can spend to buy three different type of turrets.
You will receive additional credits for defeating enemies and clearing waves.
To win the game, you have to clear all 10 waves.
You lose if The Core loses all of its hit points. Each enemy that reaches the core reduced the hit points by 1.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CONTROLS
- LEFT-CLICK to select a turret in the bottom-left corner.
- LEFT-CLICK on an empty white block to buy and place the currently selected turret.
- Hold SPACE to speed up time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OTHER
- I recommend playing the game in full screen. Game was developed and tested on a 1920x1080 screen.
- I was not able to test the Mac or Linux build, so let me know if there are any problems.
- The game was made using Unity 5.5, Blender and http://www.bfxr.net/.

Great job! this is a really well done and challenging tower defense there! took me a while to finish it!
Nice Tower Defense game. I think it may benefit from some upgrade functionality and the possibility to replace towers.
I was able to get through quite well by spamming basic towers.
Yes!!! I've finished the game! Just put 4 snipers, 4 rockets and fill the rest with normal towers! hahahahaha!! Cool game! Congratulations
Not really innovative or theme oriented but good polish. A good classic tower defense. The "acceleration" with space is a nice addition.
Really enjoyed this game! It's got a nice style and works very well.
It was fun. I didn't feel like there was much in the way of strategy without more turrets to build or an upgrade system or something, but I did still enjoy it!
For a tower defense, it is quite poorly balanced and way too fast. After around wave 5 I felt like it's a lot of fast random clicking. No upgrades whatsoever.
Although aside from balance, it is very well made and polished.
Capsule enemies attack! It still manages to look good despite the simple shapes. Not the most original idea but solid execution. Thank god for the speed up, I have other games to play ;), TD is something I used to play in school to pass time. Over all it's pretty good for a 48h. Good job.
Nicely done, challenging though, Couldn't complete it myself. It was difficult to figure out how each of the towers worked.

I didn't feel a strong theme connection but the game itself is well done!

Really solid game. "Hold SPACE to speed up time" is what every tower defense game needs.
