Haha, reminds me of the old SimSity where Godzilla attacks. Or whatever is was, I can't remember lol.
I don't know why, that game sorta reminds me good ol' genesis Desert Strike... in a much funnier style!
Destro all the humans o/
Pretty chiptune music, epic rampage!
I understand nothing at all about this game, I don't know what to do, how to play and more.
But there is a dinosaur with a hat that shoots other dinosaurs and make fire so 10 / 10 IGN.
Wow really fun game. It seemed Dinomancer only had the power to destroy gas stations, but luckily all of his friends game along. Who know dinos could be spawned from mere oil. The game ended in pure chaos, nice!
Really liked the game, nice concept. Only the lack of animation, at least you should have made a little animation for the player.
Man, that's one crazy game. The title got me really well huahuahuahua
The only real problem is that there's too much lag when the screen has a lot of soldiers/dinosaurs. But it was fun, so good job!
This game looks great. It isnt too complicated and is a cool idea that is very appealing. I enjoyed the uniqueness of this game and how creative it was. Overall it was a very great game. 10/10 would play again.
This game is nuts yo. Love it. I accidentally hit the 'R' key while mashing buttons to spawn dinosaurs once. Was expecting an "Uh oh it's Lu Bu!" moment.
Haha we had talks of a dino Cao Cao attacking from the east but we ran out of time.
This is such a great game! Gets a bit laggy after a while. Super fun to play, and loved the concept
Nice work. A way to denote how much each dinosaur was would would be nice. Also a health bar would be beneficial. good work on the art and the handling of the dinosaurs.
Yees, kill them my minions!
.. I lost!? What!?
Was pretty good, not sure how or why I lost, but did it without issues on the next try
Pretty fun
@simple_blue Yea we had those things but decided to simplify the UI in the end to make sure people just focused on the objectives and blowing everything.
This was cute. Not really sure what it has to do with ancient technology , but it was fun.
Watching things get destroyed was pretty satisfying, as was summoning a huge horde of little dinos, or a couple big ones. The controls were this game's weak point. I'd have like to feel more like I was commanding the horde. More direct control of destruction would help the satisfaction you get from it as well.
What can I say? I love dinosaurs so it was nice using them to destroy everything in sight. The arrow was really useful!
The idea is funny, the graphics are good. It got a little boring towards the end, and I don't really understand why I lost when I did. Is there some sort of health, and if so where is it displayed?
@qzqxq Yea there's a health system but we had trouble finding a good place for the HP bar to live.
Nice game, somewhat addictive.
Can't really get when I'm attacking building or not. Maybe some sound on attack wouldn't hurt.
And healthbar should be in game too or some other way to tell how much health dino has...
Fun game!
Didn't really know if my character was taking any damage though
I have no idea what I was doing, but I had a ball doing it. Like some sort of combination of Blast Corps and ...I don't know what. Nice chiptune.
Hell Yeah. That was awesome!
9/10, would be 10 if it played Ode to Joy on the victory screen.
Cool and funny. Reminds me Postal and Carmageddon. I wish main character may do some other action except samman minions (weak melee attack, speed up, fire breath). Now it's sometime feel like only respawn point (or mother ship) for minions.
Very fun there didn't seem to be any challenge to it but it was still fun to play, might be nice to be able to turn the volume down a bit
I don't know what I was doing or how this relates to the theme but it was fun smashing everything to bits as a dinosaur in the modern age.
So much fun playing this game! Not sure if I was invincible or just really good. The music and sound were perfect. You should make it pick a random building to destroy so every game is a new play!
Oh my god, this is the most fun ive had playing a jam game in a long time! Thank you!
OH MY GOD!!! So AMAZING! I have always wanted to be a dinosaur wearing a wizard hat and destroying all the buildings in a city... This is awesome. Only thing I would say is that the camera shake is a little sickening. Well done, like really! This was so fun.
This GAME! The graphics are so simple and yet the its so intoxicating. The camera shake and destruction really hook you, but man! when you start spawning new dinosaurs it becomes an addiction to see how big you can make your dino army. well done! This is a feel good game that's great to come back to. Thanks for making it!
This concept is actually pretty solid. Destroying things to build an army of dinosaurs to further destroy things is more fun that one would imagine. Lots of room for growth here.
Whoa, at first I thought it's gonna be one of those rough around the edges sort of games but the carnage and the shaking screen and the goddamn dinosaurs made this so fun. I still don't know exactly what I was supposed to do but I just spent all my time going around stomping on stuff (and wishing I could stomp on more stuff). Good job!
It is absolutely amazing. 10 Tyrannosaurus out of 10. Pure baby joy! You're the God of game development!!!
Okay. It was very funny.
The idea and the game feels is really good! You game surely interesting for any player
good job
What can be more perfect? Art and sounds. + more beauty particles will be make game more funny
Crazy game) I play over 30 minutes... and play again, again, again...
It didn't feel like there was any challenge to the game, but it was so chaotic that it probably wouldn't have been as fun if it was challenging anyway.
Nice pun btw.
That was a blast. Good visuals and nice arcade like feel.
Shout out to Dinosaur games this LD36! My Jam - Dino Lazer. Is a Dinosaur with a Lazer on its friggin head!

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Many solo participants enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Perhaps not the smoothest game in the jam, but damn if it wasn't laugh-out-loud funny when I started playing it! Really personal take on the theme, and I'd really love to see this taken further. :)
