Pyramid AI

You are an Artificial Inteligence left to protect a very precious piece of technology. Having the tomb of his masters invaded, it's your time to protect this sacred technoly from the hands of those who are not worthy.


UPDATE 09/12: Following some suggesting, I decided to make some changes. I don't plan to fix the game entirely since I'm working on other projects, but I agree with a lot of what you guys said, and since they don't see like big changes I decided to do some.
- I changed the controls to amore confortable scheme
- Now there's a minimap (sorta)
- And now there's a visual feedback when you're near a weapon but aren't possessing it.

Hope these changes will make the game more easy/confortable to play! =D



WASD = Movement
Right Click = Control Weapon
Left Click = Activate Weapon
E = Activate Slow Motion


Hey, this is my first LD! I couldn't make it to the compo, but at least I was able to make it playable for the jam! :D

Hope it's not too buggy, haha.

Very nice game ! It's really challenging. I love the music, it really adds some panic to the gameplay !
The concept is original, and it fits the theme perfectly :)

Cool game! I think it would be nice if it got more difficult over time, and you could unlock different weapons the further you got.

This game is the hardest game I played so far. The graphics, sound and music were absolutely great. My highscore was 70.

I like the music a lot. There are no colliders, gameplay is pretty slow to start, highscore was 50. It's a fun idea with more polish can be pretty cool.

Like the concept! With a bit of polish it would be a great game.

Mainly the non standard controls, plus found it hard to keep track of what's happening on the other side.

The guns would feel a bit more satisfying and effective by increasing enemies and just making them weaker. If you are interested, Vlambeer made a great video about tiny tweaks to improve your shooter, check it out here

There should have been a canon that could see the point so you could defend it. I kept losing because I couldn't see anything except the small area around the canon I was in. Even if I switched knowing they would be close, there was no way for me to shoot them once they were out of either canon's view. Also, having to switch hands from the arrow keys to the mouse was a bit awkward and slowed things down some.

I think it would be really good if you solved those few issues. My highscore was 160.

My highscore was 240.

I thinks some indication that weapon could be manipulated would be nice. Some particles if AI is near weapon will be good enough.

Also: minimap and some good feedback when attacking :)

I found it hard to control and never knew when I should go to the other side. I had to get really close (like 4 pixels?) to a cannon to enter it. Am I missing something?

Also using ZXC, mouse and arrows requires 3 hands. Maybe instead use WASD + E + Left/Right Mouse

An interesting game! The controls were a bit funny, since the mouse and arrow keys are used by the right hand. Sure, they thankfully aren't used at the same time, but it's still very awkward for my hand to switch between the two over and over. Other than that, it was a reasonably difficult yet fun game.

Fun game! It would be improved by a minimap or some way to know where the threats are coming from. I didn't really like the controls, perhaps RMB to possess the weapon would work better? Loved the viscera FX!

Cool pixel Art! Inspiring music! Interesting concept.

Didn't like the controls. Would use the arrows or WASD and both Mouse Buttons to get everything done. A little too dificult for me, but a Great Entry nonetheless!

Score: 990 It was incredibly hard until I started realizing there were more things to possess than the turrets. A great first entry! Really fun and well made!

Mini Submission FAQ

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Many solo participants enter the Jam.

If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.

CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.

CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
