This is a submission for Ludum Dare 36. The theme of this game is “Ancient Technology”. What ancient technology is S**ON?
The King is sick, you find a medicine from the root of tree, but no one knows how to take the medicine from there.
Then, you discover the tech that will help the King. It called S-P-O-O-N.

I don't know what i was doing and what i have to do but im still playing.
The music is fantastic. As other people said, I have absolutely no idea what to do, how to interact with things but I'm still playing. Nice :D
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing - maybe it would be good to have some more guidance?
I don't even. Cool no-sense kind of puzzle game which makes you think like you never thought before. Thumbs up!
Fun to play, a good game to exercise the brain. At the beginning I almost quit searching because I thought that nothing was interacting. I was so stocked when I found the birds, the cloud ...
I made a bird poop on a man ...and man a cloud darker with a bird...
I clicked and clicked... and then wasn't able to get anything done ...
Didn't get up... Sorry
That's quite funny idea, but I kinda like it.
It's very confusing in the beginning, but I finally got it.
Also, the music is great. :)
[Tips : Follow the bird]
I FIGURED IT OUT!
Very cute little puzzle game, love the music and quirky art. A little confusing at first, but sticking with it and poking about was worth my while!
Probably my only criticism would be to implement more positive feedback - there were definitely times where I wasn't sure if I was making progress.
I win! The king lives!
Great music and original graphics.
Ehm... I don't get it. There were some birds, but no spoon.
Woohoo, got the spoon! Loved the music.
The art is super random, but it ties together pretty well. Fun little game.
I ended up feeding the king some water with the spoon, but not sure if that was the end of the game or not. Would be good to have some sort of measure of progress or goals, since it's hard to tell how much you need to do.
ahaha, nice game!, love the music , very well match with graphic
i played it about 5 minutes cause of i'm dumb not realize can't move left/right while on the tree lol
I clicked a tree a bunch until a cloud shot lightning into the ground and gave me a spoon to give medicine to a guy who was pooped on by a bird.
10/10
Huh, got to the point where the cloud turned dark, then nothing when I clicked on anything. More guidance and feedback would be helpful.
A little bit buggy. A little bit eccentric. Just the way I like it.
I like how the space is split in 8 panels and the way we navigate them. It feels very natural.
The spoon was the friends we met along the way.
Incredibly weird game.
I feel kind of responsible for the guy's illness so I'm glad I found the spoon to help him with. Story A++. The music grows on you, like a fungus, a super cheerful fungus.
Wow. This is really strange. Weird art, weird music, weird... birds that make clouds wet??? wtf? but... uh... i kinda like it? I think? It was fun in a very strange way.
Also why are there purple stars with faces underground
Wow, this game was actually pretty funny. I liked it! Also, I really like the music as well. If you didn't just make a 20 second loop, you could actually make some great 8-bit music with that skill.
Good job on your game, and good luck!
Nice story line! It's a very interseting theory about how was the spoon was invented... I like the music too.
On the top of the tree, it was sometimes confusing as I were clicking on it but nothing happened except the sound feedback.
You did a game with some kind of "naive" feeling that is pleasant.
Cool creative game, the graphics look like mspaint but the color palette is consistent. Very catchy.
I absolutely love these kinds of game. And you mastered everything perfectly: sloppy graphics, silly music, dubious story, weird controls. Everything fits perfectly. Congratulations on this amazing masterpiece. Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Many solo participants enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
I wasn't always quite sure what I was always doing. But that never stopped me from playing a game :D
