Reminded me of a top-down Daggerfall, which is no bad thing! Apart from that though, it still needs a lot of polish. The combat felt dull - the little orange damage indicators aren't enough to let you know what's going on, and the lack of animation or feedback doesn't help either. Another observation - it doesn't make sense that I can walk down those narrower corridors when in the big red guy form. A solid start here, but could do with quite a bit more work I think. Ambient music was nice.
I like the graphics, but I have a few other problems with the game:
There wasn't any attacking animations for the enemies.
The 2nd form seemed to be missing a sprite.
It was too easy to die.
I like the pixel graphics makes it feel old dungeon crawler.
I LOVE the aesthetic. It's very PS1, which I have a soft spot for, so maybe I'm biased. But it gives this great sense of claustrophobia. I'd love to see this expanded into something bigger - I think the AI responding to the player state is great, but could be expanded to be really interesting. Great work!
Very impressive amount of work you accomplished! Your skill level at making games is great, but honestly I didn't find this fun or innovative. Very sluggish controls. Still, you did amazing work for 48 hours.
I didnt quite see the point of the different heros, but perhaps you ran out of time? Good concept though, and nice mood with the audio and cramped dungeon size
Really love the graphic style and lighting! I found it a bit hard, but maybe I'm missing something.
Impressive scope! wished my movement speed was just a little faster. graphics and mood were great.
I like the graphic style, but it wasn't clear if enemys are attacking, so it was difficult to dont die :D
Liked the top down dungeon 3d viewpoint. Some enemies seemed invulnerable?
looks really good and I like the atmosphere, but I wasn't totally sure what two of the forms did? I didn't seem to be able to attack with 2 or 4.
2 is good for sneaking past enemies - as a phantom they wont see you unless you almost run into them.
4 heals you but attracts enemies.
Overall nice game, the only thing I complain about is the lack of feedback for some animations and the clunky movement. it was enjoyable
Nice idea with the downward view, it was an interesting play! The controls were okay, but it took way too long to kill enemies, and you moved very slowly. It just feels very "sluggish". But I liked the pixel characters mixed with the 3D environment, very different! Nice work :)
Love the graphic style and the overall look. I didn't realize that I was being hit by an enemy until I was already dead!
Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
The gameplay is enjoyable. The music is a little sub-par just being 4 notes but is pretty ambient considering. Mechanics were thought out and timeout between shape shifting was a nice touch. Great entry ;D
Really nice game!! I really liked the art style and the birds kinda eye view.
That was fun. It might have been good to animate the enemies a bit more, but on the whole I enjoyed and liked the art style. Nice work.
I love the top down view and the graphics although some of the green enemies would never die no matter how many time I hit them
Very nice!!! A top down slightly 3D look!!! Very nice and a little creepy (a good way creepy) I died a few times VERY EASILY lol but I had a great time playing
i think the monster is a little to big but the concept is good
Nice entry, just needs a bit of balancing, but nice atmosphere :)

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
I like the claustrophobic feeling of the dungeon, very atmospheric. The big red guy looks great, made me laugh.A little hard to see what's ahead of you when moving downscren with the interface element at the bottom. Impressive work.
