Brutal difficulty, nice execution.

Some notes:
Had to restart the game once to see the controls :)
Bit weird you can walk out of the screen.
Maybe another enemy type that does close range damage and make the others inert so you can touch them without dying.

Got this error one time:

Wow great graphic and really tight controls (I love the screen shake effect). An overall excellent entry, I would just say it doesn't fit the theme that well.

It took me more time than I'd like to admit to figure out the controls. But then I was clicking in time with the music and having fun :)

I really enjoy the game! And the music is very well done too, in a way that, in some moments, i was shooting with the guy with two pistols following the beat of the music!

I just think you should try to limit (or give a cooldown) the number of times the player can do these jumps with right mouse button, in order to give some more balance to the game! =]

Great game, music and graphics. Feels really good to play. Doesn't fit the theme that well though, and dumping the bodies is a bit awkward because it requires going to the far edges of the screen to be able to shoot them back.

Loved the implementation of different weapons. Screen shake was effectively used too :)

Flowy game, simple graphics.
I loved how you can hit the bullets back with your bat.
Hotline miami style music is amazing.
Great work.

Really fun, amazing job for your first game and Ludum Dare! The screen shake was a little much for me sometimes (particularly with melee weapons) The concept is pretty cool, and I enjoyed playing it!

It's like a Tamagotchi gang war, single screen arcade shooter, decent little game. One issue, hold right and you can walk off screen infinitely and never die.

Awesome! I like how you implemented theme. I first wasn't sure what it was, but once I got far enough I realised what it was. It's hard! gives nice challenge! :D love it! good sounds! My only advice is less screenshake and it's golden!

Unbelievably fun. The beat was so catchy and the game was so fun, I wasted half an hour with this :D Goob job man! Way too many screen shakes though, my eyes hurt now.

Pretty nice! It took me some telling to get the idea wasn't to just shoot enemies, and once I did I had hard time dumping any bodies. Nonetheless, the gameplay was fun! Also it was fun using the weapons in rhythm with the music.

Fun game, lack of a big cross-hair had me bugging out sometimes when trying to fine the windows cursor. :)

The art and gameplay are really good.
I saw the developing post that you posted a few days ago and I was looking for the game to try it.
It fit in the style of games that i would play a lot.
Great job, and nice entry!:)

This game is awesome! The ONLY problem I have with it, is that it seems to lack a difficulty curve, or if there is one, it's too smooth.

You did a great job polishing the game. The controls are really responsive too. The effects (like the shaking and the dead bodies) really add to the games graphics.

Super awesome for being your first entry! You seem like a natural LDer!

Hope you had a fun LD experience and I hope to see you for the next compo =)

Great work! very solid!
at first , i just cared about that the camera shake so frequently, may be could i fell not good.
but when i real play it for some times... i feel that you controll the rhythm very great!(not only mean the camera's shake also the hole rhythm with the sound and fighting feeling )
Drums of passion~! and the bounce bullet really nice! also i feel the shooter man is so dangerous! (so many times i could not bounce the bullet in front of the gun! although it let me die, but i feel this design is really nice, and also enhence the useful of the right-mousekey)
otherwise, the doublegun mode shoot is smooth, high frequntly, but if it have more direclty hit effect(just like when i was be hit) this game may could be more wonderful and great! btw, the third mode(with a big gun!) is so unique ,i realized that you built a important diversity between them~ well done! Surprise make

Really tough but well-made entry. I love the triangle guy although I got the best dumping results with the shockwave dude. Couldn't make it past 6 dumps though.

I found it funny how rapid firing can kind of create a counter point to the music's beat.

Mini Submission FAQ

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.

If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.

CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.

CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
