I liked the glowy visuals :D The web version didn't work for me (Google Chrome)
agree with JOK, i was forced to replay the game before giving a comment cause my competitive side was triggered.
i really found the audio nice, and rewarding, (dont find it too repetitive)
Many thanks guys! We tried to develop a challenging game with no art, and this is the result.
Thanks for your feedback! :)
Great progression, pacing, controls, sound, and overall unique experience!
Cool game, an interesting take on the "shape fitting" genre, I like the modifiers a lot and they caught me out a whole bunch. I like the audio as well it was kinda a bit funny. All in all I enjoyed this game a bunch.
This game is awesome.
I see a really good potential for a full mobile game. If you guys make i will totally play it.
I cannot say enough, the music is good, the sounds are good, the controls are responsive and the hitbox react perfectly. And really good that you can select the difficulty, i wish i had put that on my game now hehe.
Really good game, well done!
Nice work! Only.. the voice after a while get annoying!:P
Good job overall!
Great idea and really polished game, I loved it!
Cheers,
Matei (BananaHammers Team)
Fun game, very nice visuals and I like the music and the voice acting!
Great job guys. The game is so funny and challenging. I hope to see more projects from you :D
Awesome game! Loved the gameplay, and especially music and graphics! Game is very challenging and fun! I always get destroyed when Random Colors starts, my mind just can't keep up lol :D Overall decent, fun, amazing game!
Really great difficulty increase, it goes from I've got this to Uh-Oh really well.
Excellent game
The sounds were good and made laugh (the announcer is really feeling it !)
The music was excellent, and the graphic simple but effective
Well done !
5/5 game for me. Great graphics, great music, great and smooth gameplay. Nice work!
I'd remove the sound effects of 'Awesome, impressive, etc'
It needs to go faster. You could even have it use less shapes and go faster instead. There is challenge in two buttons if you speed up the game fast enough.
Cheers!
I really liked the art style. Simple, minimalist, and very pleasant.
Tight gameplay also. The rewards sound got a little bit annoying overtime.
Overall, very nice entry!
Absolutely beautiful game, both visually and audibly! Epic work!
Music was good, but I would have liked it if the incoming shapes were also to the beat of the music. I wasn't a fan of the number buttons being used as a method to change shapes, either. Perhaps directional keys would have been more intuitive?
Pacing was my biggest problem, though. I think it was too slow in the beginning, and wasn't engaging enough to bring me to the last few stages.
Great concept, and loved the music! :D With a few improvements it would be a great mobile game :)
Great game, very cool with a harmonic athomosphere. I like games with simple controls. Would like to see a scoreboard though.
Awesome! Impressive! Great! :D
Even though the idea of shapeshift is a very basic one here (change your shape to fit in other shapes) you are implementing it in a way that makes an addictive and fun game. Difficulty increases quite well, and eventually it's tough to keep up even in Easy level! I like it.
Overall a good entry, you should think about making it a game for phones/tablets, I'd play it!
Really nice gameplay mechanism there! Challenging too, good job!
Hard and fun game! Got ~500 with difficulty 5.
Great music too!
Also - Remember to delete the .pdb files in the downloadable version. They're not needed and increases the download time dramatically.
This is one of the most fun and polished games I've played so far! Nice work!
Thank you guys! We're working on Android version and improving early game difficulty. We'll try to do something with repetitive sounds too!
We greatly appreciate your feedback!
Wow, great! Gameplay is simple and addictive and the graphics look nice and atmospheric.
840! That was really fun, everything felt really nice, the shapes weren't boring, and the glow added a nice touch. Great audio, the games was really well polished and the difficulty ramped up smoothly. Great game!
Really strong game play, its hella addictive! I appreciate the compliments on my playing ahaha, reminds me of Halo or Quake killing sprees.
Wow!
Your difficulty curve is pretty well done. This is something not to common at a LD.
Good job.
Fun! The announcer got annoying really quick, and the first few levels were a little too slow, but it gets quite challenging once all the shapes are in. Nice work!
I love the difficulty shift when you get to level 8 or so. I feel like you could have done with patterns for the incoming shapes, it felt like they were just randomly coming at me.
I enjoy the minimal style and glow, its got a clean classy look.
Good job! Though the compliments get a little annoying after a while.
Loved the announcer voice. Got pretty tough when the shapes started changing colors
This game made me feel really good about myself xD Excellent arcade game. The controls are really easy to pick-up and your audio and graphics go really well together. Good job!
Very fun haha, I like the voice work actually. Simple, nice, and to the point. Really nice take on the theme :D
Really nice game, the random colours difficult change threw me off hugely :c
i've seen many game of this kind in the jam but yours is the best ! Simple but nice, cool vocals and visuals fx, great mechanics, it became hard when it change to forme ^^ did 1360 :)
Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several winners of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Lovely game! Really triggered my competitive side. I want more!
The "Perfect, Astounding, Awesome" reward sounds got a bit repetitive after a while.
Keep up the good work! //JOK
