Play as our hero:
The cube of honor!
The circle of hope!
The mighty triangle of somewhat good courage!

WASD to move!
Fit the shapes in their respective hole!

It took me a while to understand what I had to do ^^
Is it normal that the game does not restart with the square when you get killed by the not-so-evil red cube? :)
Yeah that's quite normal :^) I was also worried at first so i went to the doctor but the doctor said it was just bad game design :) Thanks for the feedback! xoxo
Add more to it! It could be a very good game.maybe add rounds, or how long can you survive!!! I really do love it, just super short!
Too simple and too short. I liked the music though. :)
Little funny game. Just need to add more levels/enemies and it will be pretty much complete. Gj! :)
I mean, it's a simple game, very little going on etc.
I'm not entirely sure how you structured your AI, since it was very easy for me to force the red square in a position where it had a clear view of me but didn't fire (it was stuck against a wall and unable to move towards me, but I was next to it).
Death is insubstantial. It doesn't reset your progress or move you back.
With some fundamental pathfinding ('if player_pos is in a given rectangle of the screen, move to set position that can aim into that rect'), about a dozen more enemies, and randomly spawning objectives this might have been a bit more fun.
The game is 30 seconds long, if it was a bit longer it would have potential. Cool music tho.
Pretty fun but too short and easy. Always leave them wanting more I guess. Well done!
Thanks for the comments! :) This game is short because the theme is bad :/ Bless up!
That was quick :)
More levels would've been nice
I think the gameplay could be developed further
The limited AI made the game somewhat easy, hope you didn't lose too much of your soul on it :)
Also a bit confusing how your entry is called ShapeQuest but the file is Shapeshifting.
I enjoyed the light hearted experience
Very simple and short game :) add more levels man! music was nice :)
This was fun, but the visuals could have been better. Is it normal that the game does not restart with the square when you get killed by the red cube?
I think that there is a good idea in there somewhere, its just trying to find it I guess.
Its too short. I think its a good idea, it could be a good game, only need more levels.
May be a little short and the graphics could be a little more polished, but great music, though! plus: I do like your humor :)
Short and simple game but it is on the theme and the concept is nice.
There's not really enough to go on, would like to see what comes next.
Deep meaning and symbolism about a coming of age teenager ready to take on the world.
blue white red...thanks for the french 'clin d'oeil' on the capture (volontary or not ) lol
It seems to be the first level of a puzzle game.
It can become something good with some other mechanics.
Not bad for a start :)
Cheers

Thanks for all the lovely comments! :) I shall publish this on steam! Now my life is future-proof thanks to this game and how well it will sell! :D 20 USD
I tried to find something worse, to do so was harder than the game itself.. Not very good at all, epic music though! :D
I like the idea, but it could really use more levels, and maybe some more different enemies :)
Really simple, but also really funny haha
Nice job Pentakill... ops, Penthaquill! :D
Cool entry, I like that after the end, everything has a new meaning.
Haha got it ;D Nice idea... very minimalistic but very funny in some way :) It took me under one minute... i think between 30 and 50 seconds... Hope you'll release some dlc's soon :)
Pretty short but it does have some potential even though the red cube's AI was ridiculously aggressive (Actually managed to complete this without losing any lives on my 3rd go).

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
WTF HAHA That was fucking brilliant xD
