Happy 1 year of Ludum Dare for me!!
I wanted to make something special for this LD, but things were so crazy here that I didn't have much time to dedicate, practically only the last day... I had to use Unity too to speed up the development... I really wanted to use my engine T_T... I didn't have time to even pick a better name for the project xp
Anyways, with the little time that I had I was able to make something /o/ It's not much, the concept and art was simple enough to do it somewhat fast, but I hope it's at least fun!
I'm sorry there is no BGM, I actually tried to make something, but I just didn't have enough time... Also sorry for the project being so big, don't know what happened there O.o
I hope you enjoy playing it! And remember to comment so I can play your game too!!
Congratulations to all!!

Congratulations on a very nice game. Love the graphics. Love the game play... very challenging. Background music would really make this even more awesome.
I got to level 3 without changing the shape and I was like "this is game is pretty hard". Then I realized that I could do that.
Nice game tho.
This game is quite challenging. I think adding a tutorial level with only 3 shapes to demonstrate the gameplay would do wonders for people who play for the first time.
@Tanton-H2X Oh you are way too kind ^^ I'm so happy I actually inspired someone! Just beware that my code is super messy!
@schizoid2k I'm glad you enjoyed it! I know! I really wished I had enough time/skill to make some nice BGM...
@Kirzo @WizByte_Games Oh I see xp I'm sorry it was difficult to understand how to play the game. I wanted to make something more understandable in the first level, but I quite literally had to build the levels within minutes T_T I hope you enjoyed the game nevertheless!
@Jungle Thank you for playing too!
The game is quite simple and somewhat show that you lacked time... whoever, it's in nowhere nearly as bad as you made it sound... in fact, I liked it quite a lot.
The strategy of trying to control the enemies so they would collide kept my interest through the game. I also found fun in trying to get past enemies as quickly as possible.
Also, the game was quite polished, with lots of animations, particles and SFXs, which really helped with the feedback.
Great game!
You should feel proud of it! =D
Great game!
Maybe a change in the death sound effect would be nice. (As it is the same for every geometry)
I reached the level 4 but man! This game is challenging!
Great game mate! Nice mechanics and the game is smooth as hell! The multiple possibilities on gameplay help a lot as well. Just missed a background music and that sfx for the colision almost game me a heart attack lol.
I actually think this is *superb*. It's a great interpritation of the theme and seems pretty original to me. The physics, speed and difficulty are all spot on! It's loads of fun, especially once you realise you can play the shapes off against each other.
I love the pacing too... It's really quite difficult at the start because of the amount of shapes on the screen, and as the level continues it gets easier and easier; but if you make one little mistake at the last second, it's back to the start again - and the restart is just quick enough for you to go 'ARGH!' and frantically start trying to clean up shapes again.
I could lose hours to this... Really, one of the most enjoyable entries I've played. Nice.
@GFM Oh I'm sorry I made it sound bad... I guess I was just frustrated because I could not finish everything I had in mind (specially BGM) and that everything was made in such a rush... But I liked the final result! Even though it's quite simple, as the saying goes, less is more, right? ^^ Anyway, I happy you enjoyed the game!
@Djapz30 I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I did think about that, but I though that you're a shape like the others, and you also die like the others xp, and wouldn't have the time anyways xp
But I know you can finish the game! You're almost there! Patience is the key here ^^
@kaovhmf Thanks! I'm glad you liked the game! I was extra careful with smoothness~ Yeah.. I miss the BGM too T_T Sorry for the SFX, it was really quite loud xp
@GaryS Why thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hope you play it a lot! kkkk Oh yes, you can never be too careful in this game! It's so frustrating when you're like "Oh, I did it, just this one last key and there are only two shapes in my way, piece of cake"... but no... >.<
@omarhuseynov011 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Love the neon too ;)
Wow, this was intense! The main concept is deceptively simple, but it hides a very challenging game. It also revealed a slightly sadistic part of me, as I began to focus more on forcing collisions than to retrieve the keys.
Graphics were also fitting, I loved the subtle glows and lights. Very solid entry overall, congrats! (Oh, and your concept is more innovative than my "mix all the shoot-em-ups!", kudos for that :D)
Really great Game! The controls seem to be the most challenging part *g* (as with my game, too). Really enjoyed playing it!
This game is really viscerally fun, if a little hard. I also felt like I won through luck quite often. I'd love to see more intricately designed levels later on.
@Ithildin I'm glad you enjoyed it! Well, better safe than sorry, it's still dangerous if you leave a couple of shapes out there xp (Oh thanks! But the concept is quite basic really, your "mix" was quite fun too! ^^ Oh I did use Geometry wars as reference too~)
@MountainRanger Thank you! Oh don't worry, to beat it you just need to patient, but I will be publishing a walkthrough soon! Hope you still enjoyed it though!
@BSODDevTeam Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@Kifuga I'm glad you enjoyed playing! Even though the controls were challenging xp
@Paulgami Wow thank you! Well, I think being hard is part of the fun~ Oh since I'm getting such great feedback I'm actually thinking about making a post-compo with more features and levels! But that would have to wait till next week ^^;
Good job! I enjoyed the graphics and concept! The controls made the game a bit difficult, but maybe having the "player" follow the mouse could have improved it!
Even tough you didn't have much time, you've spent it well, the graphics are so perfectly simple. The controls feel very nice. The game is a lot of fun.
Wow, the physics really work to create some interesting tactics here. There's this great satisfaction to shoving a wave of same-shapes into a crowd and watching them all blow up. Then you just change into whoever is left standing and shove them into the wall!
It took me a while to get a groove because there's a lot going on. The 1/2/3 buttons were hard to instantly relate to the shape. Took me a few deaths to stabilize, but I prefer that to a slow tutorial.
The nice thing is it let me play slow and careful if I was feeling awkward, or fast and aggressive if I was in the groove. Impressively balanced!
Retry chunk maybe got a little too large after a few levels. A late death was disheartening.
Really cool idea and well implemented. I seem to really suck at it though, I died so many times ^^' Great job though ;)
@Chaserbrown Thank you for playing and for the feed back! I never though about making movement through mouse, I'll take a look!
@pixel_maniacs Why thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@Vantaug Thank you! I'm glad you had fun! Even though it's simple I put a lot of effort to make it nice and smooth ^^
@davalcordub Oh thank you! Glad you enjoyed playing!
@pkenney Thank you for playing and for the feedback! It is really nice to see your path getting cleared xp
Oh yes, I didn't have time for it but I was planning a first stage kind a like Super Mario level one, with no tutorial but the stage itself makes the player learn the concepts.
But yeah... the difficulty escalates a bit quickly.. I will try to make progression better in post-compo version!
@DSSiege11 Oh thank you! I hope you enjoyed even dying a lot though xp
It took me a few tries to clear a board and I loved every moment of it! Fantastic job!!!
A good, simple concept that's well executed. You're right that BGM's lacking, but I think you still could've added it and simply taken yourself out of the Audio category as you did anyway.
Graphics were simple but still pleasant to look at. I would like to see how you could've taken this game further.
Neat, but a bit hard. I'm not sure what I can suggest for you, as it was a solid, well polished game. I think it would be cool if each shape behaved a little differently, but that might not work. Good job!
@fin_nolimit Oh I'm so happy you loved it! Thank you!
@ConorOD Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it!
@SpringCabal Oh yes, but then I would have to put it in Jam category I guess ^^; But I'll add it in a post-compo version! (if I manage to do it...)
@thedashdude Oh yes, for the possible post-compo version I'm thinking about having some different mechanics, not exactly each shape have its own behavior, but some other stuff in the arena that will make your shape react depending on the shape!
haha Wow! :D that was soo good :D cool idea and mechanics :D
Nice concept!
I can't explain why exactly but i was frustrated. The concept looks very good but i was a little disappointed when i play it. I think i don't very like the gameplay.
That game kinda reminds me of strong interactions between quarks.
I rather liked the general game concept and aesthetics; it isn't particularly complicated, and the gameplay gets less challenging once you get the hang of it, but it was still pretty enjoyable. Pretty good job here. ^^
Also, wow, Kirzo, that's pretty amazing feat to get that far! :o
Simple concept, well done overall. A bit tough, especially at first, but still fun.
@neilcorre2k6 I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for playing!
@Kerdelos I'm sorry it wasn't enjoyable for you =x Well, it is a very simple concept/mechanic, maybe if I add some more features it would be more fun? Anyway I'll try harder next time! Thank you for the feedback!
@Alphish Wow! Well, I'm not very acquainted with quarks, but when I modeled the game I was just thinking about basic electrical forces ^^; (with 3 charges, but whatever). Oh yes, if I get to make a post-compo version I'll try to make more elaborated stages and more features to have a better flow! Thank you for the feedback!
I also was amazed by @Kirzo's skills xp
@A-Flat Miner Studios I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though it was difficult at first! Thank you for playing!
i'am back and voted!(and play again your game , why still so that cool > <ahhh!) ,if you update a new version, please let me know and i must to paly it again! (but why i still can not trans my shape ToT )
@Tanton-H2X Thank you for playing my game again! I'm very happy you enjoyed it! I'll let you know for sure! Oh you can't shapeshift your shape? That's odd... What happens? You press the number and it won't change at all?
Great take on the theme! The Geometry Wars inspired look feels great (gotta love the vector graphics ;D) and it's really challenging! :)
The controls are pretty responsive and there's a nice feeling of progression, though I'd recommend you tone it down just a tiny-bit and spread the difficulty across more levels. :)
Great work, inspiring too! :)
@yuigoto Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Oh yes, the levels were pretty much made in the last minute, so I didn't have the time to tweak them... But in the post-compo version I'll make more levels (and with more features?) ^^
@nihilaleph Yes! i didn't know why! i also specialized test this point! the first time i play ,i just forgot to use(but i remember i have try to hit 1-3buttons...because i have read the Instructions before i palyed )
the second time play, just for try shape, but still not work.... but i was already found that this game can also stage clear by no-shapeshifting (although it will be more difficulty to play! but it be more unique under this method to paly Omg... i also think it maybe a cool point or new possibility in your game)
hop[e this feedback could be useful and sorry for my late.
@Tanton-H2X Oh yes! Thank you for the feedback! It will surely help! Sorry for the late reply too xp

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
How genius this game!Finally i stage clear!ToT
the excellent controll feeling and the core design all let me excited, art style, the map building and these different types and subtleties between them!
I feel it may get a great rank in this match. Love it! will come back here again to vote tomorrow, it really inspired me alot
