-Just drag and drop!
-The customers scroll goes in the middle slot at the bottom
-The item you want to shapeshift goes in the left slot at the bottom.

___Tips___

Simple, but brilliant; very funny - I love the quotes the people make
final score of 440. The flavor text is what got me. Like the humour :)
Nice little game, fits well with the theme and plays smooth from beginning to end.
Not much too say really, it does what it's supposed to for the concept of it. Just kudos I guess :)
++
awesome game, it was funny humour 10/10. i didnt encounter any bugs so thats gud
Really funny, great effort on all the graphics, must have taken a while :)
A cute little game, full of puns. Some fell a little flat, but there was enough there to make it enjoyable. The graphics and music helped sell the feel too.
I quite enjoyed this little game. First customer had me stumped as I hadn't read his comment, and didn't know what to do. But after that, only the fish had me scratching my head... how obvious it was at the end though.
Didn't encounter any problems, and the game ran just fine. Nice little effort! Really liked some of the comments from the customers... "Hammer Time" ;)
Clever puzzles, loved the jokes!
Though, I couldn't figure out what some of the items are beforehand, only after I trial-and-errored through them.
"STOP!"
"What?"
"Hammer Time!"
Dude I nearly spit out my drink! Some good wordplay and off-guard humor there.
Why no rating for fun? I had fun!
Great idea though some of the puns and the pixel art made it very hard to guess lots of them. Still, I made it through and I appreciated all the wordplay :)
This is a great idea. You implemented it really well.
Its really funny but its actually harder at the start when there are more items to choose from.
Liked the quotes! Final score: 380
There were a couple of them that I couldn't figure out so I just kept trying until one of them matched. :P
It could be nice if difficulty scaled up. It seemed kinda random. But overall, nice game! I had a good time!
For the saw, I thought it would be the eye. Haha, great game. Really funny.
Very nice game, enyojable and with an original concept, nice take on of the theme
I wish you would just add some description to the objects because I admit I had to do a lot of random clicking before I made it to the end ;)
Good game concept. I did note that the timer was ticking before you even hear the request though.
Ha, this is an awesome entry. I love that you've made a whole soundtrack for the game, which is not something found in every compo game. The puzzles itself are cool, but what really makes it shine are the funny things the customers say. Very well done! I played it all the way to the end, so that's a good sign, right :)
Very cute little game. I chuckled on some of the jokes and I feel they were quite clever.
From a mechanics standpoint I didn't get why you needed the scrolls and the fact that there are only two of the menu fields active lets me guess that you had planned more for this game.
I like it and think the concept could be expanded. Good job.
Final score: 14 WHAT A LOSER'S SCORE ^^ I did have a wonderful time, your game is really good, nothing to add ! Well done !
Really nice and good music. I taked a time until i figure it out :) But really nice
I really like the concept, the audio is a bit weak, but the core gameplay is fun, though repetetive.
A very nice game with funny dialogue. I enjoyed the puzzle element of it although I didn't get a good score unfortunately :)
The funniest game I played so far, and also challenging but not too much so you don't get frustrated. My only complaint is the countdown shouldn't start until they make the scroll available.
Pun-tastic game :P Many funny lines, the music went well with it, and I was trying to figure out what the rest of my items are gonna be needed for in the future. Kinda sad about the length, i thought there'd be as many jokes as items. :P Great job!
Really great game, I stayed all the way to the end and felt like an idiot for not getting some of these. 5 star humor for sure.
Simple, clean, well executed and nice graphics!
Nice take on of the theme too.
Just a bit difficult at the start, for me.
Nice entry!:)
Loved the puns. Score was a couple of hundred in the minus though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Absolute comedy genius! And the male chicken part got me at first haha!
Love the whole transforming logic with semi-tedious links to the items requested. Very good job.
People's quotes were great! And I liked how the puzzles got harder and used different types of puns.
Cute concept. I need to show this to my roommate. He makes cat-astrophal puns.
I got a final score of 382. It was an enjoyable experience. I love the cheeky quips the customers had to say; they added a nice flavor to the game. I found myself guessing for a few combinations, but afterwards I was like, "Doh! That should have been obvious!" Like the fish. I should have figured that out instantly.
what a charming game!! i was surprised with the little quips, i wasn't expecting them at first, but they really upped my enjoyment of the game. i liked your interpretation of the theme, and had a good time figuring out the puns :)
This shop must be setup in some kind of depraved criminal underground. Funny writing, nice job.
Cute! I had a lot of fun trying to figure out the answers - it was engaging that there were different types of relationships between the words.
Oh well i finished with a Score of -186. Some things were obvious and others i ended up trying every possible combination. Great little game, it was fun and made me laugh :) Nice work!
too stupid but neat idea but hard for not native english speaker.
Several funny moments in this charming awesome game. Great work. I also appreciate the final message :)
score of 277 represent! Some of the word plays are a bit of a stretch, but quite fun game and I really like the mood and the bit of random conversation that pops up in the middle. I think that the floaty movement of the sprites make it a little less gritty/lowres, so could have been more lofi charm if they moved in pixel/grid steps instead!
Finished it! This was good fun and definitely made me smile, I liked sending the male chicken guy away (we're just not that kind of shop). Also what exactly was that one guy going to do with that wrench? I can't even figure out the logistics of that one...
I always appreciate some good wordplay; and this game really sells it.
Well, he seems to be transforming things for free, but still.
I would love to see a more advanced version of this game where you can also add a catalyst that changes the 'rule' of the shapeshift. The guy who wants a fish comes back, but you've already used up your gold ingot. Luckily you have some mold and some Rhyming Powder...
@GrooveMan
Well... You haven't heard the full story yet!
Pasowix main income is actually from assisting hitmen in their missions and he takes a cut from every hit. He just helps the the goldfish guys because he's a nice guy! But it goes deeper than that... Have you ever wondered how he has so many items in his inventory? Pasowix is actually a VERY powerful shapeshifter if he uses his dark magic. If you would look into the dark mysterious back shed of his workshop. You wouldn't believe what you'd find.. Remember all those hits that the hitmen did, where do you think all the bodies go? Yeah... That's right C:<
Lol, anyways; about the advanced version - WOW! You're so freaking right! Thanks for the idea!
I was going to label this project as finished, but now I might expand it as a catalyst makes so much more combinations and tricks.
Sweet 48 hours solo work ! It's surely hilarious and the execution is well done. I played until the end despite of my bad skills in english so I used Google Translate when I was stuck ^^. I'm also pretty impressed by the amount of pixel icons you had to do : most of them are immediatly
recognizable, which is great. I like how it rewards the players who play until the end with hilarious jokes and little references, it feels like super important for a jam game I think. Anyways, memorable entry.
Fantastic! I absolutely loved your play on the English language, managed to finish it too! I was a little disappointed I couldn't use the cheese, but what you did was fantastic! The humour was great! There were a couple that stumped me, I was unaware of a Butterfly knife, and I didn't think gold when I was asked for a fish either, but I liked that I could attempt to use the incorrect items.
Loved it! Funny game that I understood easily, and even the puzzles I had trouble with ended up being entertaining when I went, "Ahhh! Of course!"
You even had a little guy show up who didn't actually have a puzzle associated with him as a little joke, which was a nice touch.
Seriously: good job!
Tja, David från LBS Linköping.
Roligt litet spel. Riktigt smart och enkel användning av temat!
5 stjärnor på humor xD
Bra jobbat!
Really simple yet totally funny and cool game!
Loved the idea, the references (I almost cried with the "HAMMER TIME").
Congratulations!
I just have to say thanks for all the wonderful comments! I read them all... Multiple times!
Love the bull shapeshift!! :-)
Great puzzle game! Keep up the good work!
simple but intricate at the same time! interesting take onthe theme :)) THE JOKES THO xDD
male chicken - ha - this was really well done - i loved the commentary - great game
This game is just clever :D... STOP! What?.. HAMMER TIME! Good job!
Couldn't play the web version in Chrome, I guess you must have an older Unity? Lots of other Unity games from this compo were playable in Chrome... I downloaded and played the Windows version. Some of the word associations were pretty obvious, others not so, but I solved them all and beat the game. One thing that could improve is a way to get the clue again. There was one guy who my attention lapsed and I missed what he said, and so I had to guess the thing he needed, because I had no way to ask him to repeat himself.
This looks interesting, but I can't play it. :(
Could you export a Linux64 build from Unity?
Meanwhile it turned out the Web version worked for me. Even though I didn't hear any sound.
My final score is -1011. :D Nice game, liked the idea. Sad that I couldn't use all objects. Then the guy who wanted male chicken...
If you intend to work on this game post-compo, you could consider making it more complicated (like mixing more objects), but also to give a little more hints at the beginning.
Quite simple concept, well-made, nice graphics and music style that fits it. And on top of that, good quotes to add humor to it. I liked it!

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
i liked it but i couldnt finish it. couldnt figure it out.
